Where to buy 14bolt rock ring? ok found one.
Im looking for a company that sells a 14 bolt rock ring so I can modify the stock diff cover. Searched DIY companies and only came up with RuffStuff. Anyone out there know of a less expensive option? I thought of making one but it isnt worth my time. Just looking for the base or mounting surface.

blue torch fab has them, http://bluetorchfab.com/store/produc...roducts_id=235.
beware if you opt for the whole DIY kit, i got the D60 and D80 kits, the fit was good on the d60 cover but the d80 kit is almost worthless because the welds along the ring won't leave enough room for the bolt heads, leaving me to have to modify their kit just to make it work.

Cant believe I forgot to look them up. COcummins how thick is your ring? They dont have a product spec on their individual rings? RuffStuff is 3/8". I notice with a lot of that mass produced shat you have to tweak it to get it to where its suppose to be

Few few years ago I had more time than money and I looked into fabricating my own. Did some searching and it looked very easy. Depends on your time vs. $ ratio.
$0.02

Yea, but by splitting the money and time factors in half I decided to go with Copperhead Fab's for $50. Sweet cover and I dont feel bad about shaving the bottom 3 bolts off. Thanks for the pennies tho.

I can't wait till I get my 2x2 torchmate. That $50 DIY kit is 10 pieces of 1/4" that in materials consumables and time is under $25. Look for a wrench by my name in the near future.

This one was 8 pieces, the vertical strip thats about 2" wide and follows the path of the ring gear has 2 prefferated cuts that you bend.
Oh and you better hurry because I need a DIY cover for the D60 asap.

As soon as they get the orders in front of me out of the shop.... They told me 5-6 weeks before I would see it at the house.
Were you able to bend that without a press brake?

The prefferation was a cut almost through the whole width of the piece, just put it in the vise and pulled, no heat.
