Time for a Meet n Greet in Vail?
http://www.vaildaily.com/article/200...ntprofile=1065
Vail Daily letter: Strong feelings about SUVs
All you people who own and drive gas-guzzling SUVs out there, as far as i'm concerned, you are all eco-terrorists! You need to beimmediately arrested, jailed and have your vehicles forcibly confiscated from you. I advocate long prison terms for your willful idiocy!
You are destroying your children's future by condemning them to a planet that will not support life anymore because you are belching out ungodly amounts of CO2 from your SUVs, causing irreversible global climate change to occur.
Are you aware that millions and millions of innocent men, women and children are dying on this planet every single day, just so you can live in million dollar condos and drive around in luxury vehicles?
I urge the Obama administration and the state legistlatures to immediately criminalize all SUVs and stop this insanity before it destroys us all! If you wasteful American idiots resist, may you be either thrown into government-operated FEMA concentration camps or taken out and shot.
Take it from Richard Heinberg and his book, “The Party's Over.” Get it through your thick heads!
Enough of your madness!
Wren Guzman

I think someone's a bit jealous and resentful. And who exactly is "dying"? It should be pretty easy to point out since there are "millions and millions".

Our future generations will be too busy paying back all this debt Obama's racking up to notice the planet is dying.

Hell yes I am in on this! I'll even drag my trailer with camping gear behind my Rubi. just because I can! Ought to get about 5mpg coming up to Vail from Denver.
Where do these idiots get off? Didn't they learn one damned thing in school/college? CO2 is freaking plant food! We all need to do our part in belching out more of it to keep the trees healthy! These eco-terrorists are all idiots. Global warming is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on society. Communism coming in green instead of red.
I'll even load seven or eight trail rigs on my 18 wheeler and come to Vail. We all know how much Vail hates big trucks! When is the date for this anti-eco-terrorist event?

I will bring both my SUV's and a car just to burn more fuel.
I am sure the cash for clunkers program will have no polluting effect when they melt the metal, put the plastic in landfills etc. and don't forget the pollution it took to create the new car in the first place.
So you save the earth types just how many vehicles, and bicycles have you had in say the last 10 years. Now that is the real polluters, those who constantly throw away vehicles and items that could be easily maintained and upgraded to give many more years of service.
Ok I will shut up now. maybe

It says a lot about the newspaper that would print such hate-filled, fact-lacking, bullshit. Vail Daily

Wouldn't it be a good idea to find some smelly peat bog on the way to Vail? Get as many rigs as possible nasty dirty before showing up? IMHO The office of that rag newspaper would be a better local to meet at. I imagine I can find a real looking stuffed polar bear to tie down over my hood. tie a dead seal over the spare tire on back.

I can bring a pillow case stuffed full of dead preebles jumping mice, that should help out!! LOL!! This shit kills me!! It's like the asshats that think hybrids are "better" for the damn planet than any other vehicle. Yes, you are correct, our planet loves to digest your toxic batteries, that they still haven't figured out what the hell they are going to do with yet!! Yes, yes, hybrids for everyone. We will be swimming in a lake of lithium-ion in no time!! Man, I can't wait!! Water wings anyone??

Best point made, there are tons of idiots out there that belief this crap but why would a newspaper print an article advocating violence. I live in avon most the time and had to stop reading the vail daily about a year ago when they printed an article by someone who claimed that we as Americans were responsible for the deaths at 9/11, not the terrorists, made me want to puke. Along with the meet and greet how about a boycott of Vail Daily.

Lithium Ion batteries are non hazardous waste. They can be thrown directly into the trash and sent directly to the dump. Metal hydride or Nickel cadmium on the other hand are hazardous waste. Just sayin.
