Not much to say, Dave M. from the springs came up with his pops to meet up with a few of us locals and have a good time. Only real carnage was Mr. Gutwrench (lee) who blew a water pump pully at the begining on his maiden voyage of the new orange buggy and then later 89mini truck tore of a super bling chrome tipped valve stemThere's almost 400 pics located here if you really care to look

Dad and I had a blast today, and it only took 5:10 hours to get home this afternoon from the trailhead. Wally, you need to teach my wife how to take pictures, your's are awesome. I called my buddy to show him and he is so jealous that he couldn't make it. It was great wheelin' with everyone and thanks for all the help throughout the day. I'm going to make a screen saver with my TJ aired out, way cool! Thanks again, hope to make it over again someday.
I felt like I was going on my pass side once, just a little rock painting though. The toyota kind of laid over but backed out so fast nobody got a picture of it.

SUPER BLING?? That's funny coming from Mr. "Wally" Bling himself with those bling, bling tires you have. Anyway, those metal valve stems have to go...
Rig worked butter smooth... and I got to try some new lines. Thanks again Clint for the help with the pitman arm... the only issue all day was valve steam sheared off. About 15 minutes and all was good again. Mike jumped into action and helped me out... Steve HAD an extra valve stem, like we all carry one of those huh? Yeah, Steve rules! He just pulled it out and gave me one like we were at NAPA... it was awesome. We used the highlift jack to break bead and reinflate... problem solved. I DO owe Steve a valve stem...
It was good to run the trail with the new doubler too... it was killer! Chris (Colorado Cruiser) is never going to let me live this down.
I'm bummed nobody got a pix of me on my side on the next to last obstacle... Wally and I were talking about taking a higher line and it worked for him since his rig is much wider and the 40s help some too. I EVEN rode in his rig with him up and over... His rig is smooooth. BUT, it didn't work for me and I very gracefully fell over on the driver's side... I even had to re-start the rig before I could back out... what were you ALL waiting for? Take the pix already!!
OH, and I almost forgot... Wally's better half, Carrie, did a nice job of driving Wally's much improved rig. She keeps ALL FOUR tires on the ground unlike Wally. Excellent job Carrie... looks like Wally should get used to riding, huh?

89 Yota, 4.3 V6, Marlin 4.7+Doubler, 40s on Double Beadlocks, 60 and 14 bolt axles...
Had a great time. Thanks to Steve and Mike for the great spotting. Think I will be taking Wally's jeep up billings a little more often. The mall jeep is not quite ready for something like that.
