Grizzly Lake is now open. OrangeXJ, Guammy, and ourselves snowbashed our way to the top. There were 3 to 4' drifts. There is also alot of downed trees caused by some major wind. They were broke of at the trunks of the trees. There was one that blocked the trail that was around 2' in diameter and was off the ground about a foot, that we just eventually had to wheel over it. It is gorgeous as always. I will try to get some pictures posted later on. I do not have the capabilities but Guammy does.

OK I got confused I only found 2 trailheads off the main road the second one went to the mine and Pomeroy lake. What is the first one once you start up the road? Iron Chest or Grizzley lake? And were is the other trailhead?

Nice pictures Tom and Don. Sorry you could make it on Sunday Don. We went up Mt. Princeton and tried Pomery Lake. Great weekend. My kids and I enjoyed it alot. Except I now have a sore throat from the last freezing night in the tent.

It was great wheeling with you guys and I had a really good time.
I should have planned to camp and do more trails in the area, next time....
