    th350 torque converter

What is the best rock crawling torque converter for a chevy th350?
How do I tell what my stall is on the one I have?

Whith a tachometer you can check your stall speed with the transmission in gear, breaks applied and the accelerator wide open. Be careful... and don't hold it too long, there's alot of heat being generated. Idle to cool down.
Your results may not accurately show the "converter's" stall speed. You may have slipping in the trans showing a stall speed that is too high. You may have a weakness in the engine showing a lower than actual stall speed.

Why would you even be on this site you have no desire to leave the house and wheel. Or fix your jeep. Why don't you get on a TV website. Bash on me for having a life.

    Best Torque Converter Stall Speed

I'm not sure that there's a "best" stall speed for crawling. I think you need a converter that stalls 500-700 RPM below your engines peak torque. If you don't have access to a dyno I would guess on the conservative side.
Stall Torque Ratio is also a factor. STR is the max torque multiplication produced buy the converter. Usually no more than 2.6:1 I wouldn't trust a vender who tells you they can get you more. That would take special stators etc. and more money than could be justified.
