    Carnage sunday the 9th

Went to carnage sunday had a group of 12 had a good time up there. I layed the rubi on its side going up the water fall. then there was a broken tie rod on a tj. lwb rubi bent a tie rod. And a cj broke a front drive shaft and shackle on the front. I am waiting for the pics there should be a video as well. Thanks to every one that helped roll me back over. See everyone next time.

That flop was priceless. I hope we got a pic of your face!

yup there was lots of carnage that day and for once none of it was mine though I did find that I broke the rubber off in my drivers side motor mount but that was an easy fix.
So this baby seal walks into this club...

I sent them hopefully you get 'em. That was a fun trip but that recovery sucked. the guy slid off when he started sliding off some sand stone and in stead of stopping he just hopped himself off the cliff. He was in 2 wheel drive w/ bald tires. A sure future Darwin Award winner. The only carnage I ended up with besides the usual skid plate and bumper rash was losing a hitch pin and washer for my swaybar but a small screwdriver ans some old duct tape got me back to denver no problem.

    Ok, I've done it once.

Note: My camera is fixed-focus, apparently set on "fuzzy".
Sorry I was sort of a poor sport. I've always wheeled alone, very cautiously, but keeping up some progress to keep my son

happy - when Jason's not happy, nobody's happy... indeed, the screaming is unendurable. If you've ever been present at an inhumanely-performed slaughter of a hog, you have a small sample - now, picture that sound coming from the person you love the most, for hours on end, while people look at you like you're hurting him. So, I get sort of frantic when stuck in traffic. A large group of hardcore wheelers (apparently with enough money to set out to break stuff), each spending half an hour on each obstacle, got me kind of impatient, and I tried to hold a smooth steady line through everything, as if I were driving Johnny Park, despite the alarming sounds from underneath.

...The only thing I'll have to replace soon is the DF LCA - I torqued it so badly the front bushings are in oval-shaped holes. The bent tie rod is not enough to even offcenter the wheel. I just put in a new grease zerk at the pitman arm ball joint. The body damage in front of the PR wheelwell isn't readily noticable... that diamond-plate rocker panel stuff did its job, but I've got to put some rails out there before I risk them again.
