    Off Highway Expo 04.08.06 [pics]

I had a great time "wheeling" with everyone today. We did some rock stacking....a couple of recoveries.....and I think we did a decent job putting on a "show" for the spectators.

Here are the pictures that I took. Man, those trials guys were pretty impressive.

Just got home to Cheyenne from the event. Nice course and event. Loved the 4runner in the arena. The Jeeps put on a great show too.
Thanks. Will be back next year.

Was a great time today. Great group of folks, awesome spotting and a fun time. Those kids on the motos were crazy!

Thanks to everyone who came out, and help out with spotting, strapping and such. Hope to wheel on a trail with you all someday.

    More pics coming soon.

Yeah, that's why I thought I would try to post the pics as soon as possible....so, people would know what to expect and what they might see if they were spectating.

Ooops....it looks like I forgot to post this pic. The Valtastrophe getting stuck.....whoda thunk it?

Here are a few pictures I took today since there are some already of Saturday. Sorry I have now idea who most of these vehicles were

Steve just making sure that wheel doesn't come off the ground to far..

I do have to say that Dmies stole the show and took some pretty crazy lines. I had fun standing out in the growd and listening to the people that have never seen these vehicles do something like this and the comments they made. Once when the Orange jeep was going downhill and had the back end up in the air a little everyone thought he was going to roll.

We had a good time and look forward to a bigger show next year. Like Clyde said I hope for more vendors next year.
By the way Explorergurl had a lot of fun helping out in the booth and I hope some of you stopped by and say "HI"!!!!

No front locker, makes for spinning front end, which means not getting up the rocks!!

    Many thanks

I wanted to thank everyone for participating and showing the public that there are incredibly fun and wild ways to responsibly enjoy the outdoors. As I sat in the stands a few times and heard nothing but great comments about the drivers, rigs and the helpful spirit everyone displayed. Everyone who drove and helped out made this event great fun and great spectacle to watch. Thanks for shairing the event with the trials guys. It was a perfect display of multi-use. I really appreciate your help and we hope to make a much much bigger show next year.

I hope to see you on the trails sometime.

I was able to sneak down there with My little white jeep after it was all over and take a few passes at the rocks.

Got to scare the hell out of my sister in law so it was all worth it. Sorry I missed all the fun on sunday but I had other obligations.

sure if you consider lots of stupid pedal, no regard for safety, or breakage driving style .

He was not supposed to be in there and that is why he got 1 pass and got booted from the arena

She got stuck one time (well, more than once ) and she was starting to smoke the tires on the rocks as we tried to push her TJ.....I told her not to worry....they didn't cost her much.

    RIP OFF... RIP OFF

We went to the "show"... would of had more fun making a pile of $ones and throwing a match on it.
There was only 20 vendors there and most were selling quads or rvs. There was only one yj in the place and it was sooo modded that it was not a yj any more.
    NO ideas
NO parts sellers (There was 1 to be fair, 4 wheel parts, RUDE BUNCH of holes)
    NO shops
    NO garages
    NO Warn
    NO ARB
    NO psc
    NO do dads
    NO bling
    NO shiny stuff
    NOTHING
All the good vendors were at EJS, not at that "show"
If you wern't one of the few chosen to drive the rocks, a complete waste.

Fatwreck, Great pics. Sorry I didn't get to see you over the weekend. We ran the course on Sunday and had a great time. The bikes were definately sick. That was a good pic of the wheel stand. Those bikes are so torquey. I had the chance to try one out and almost flipped it . They are amazing and I certainly have a new repect for the control of the riders.
It's just a beater, but someday....

He offered to let me try it Sunday too. Even tho I ride motocross I declined. It was more fun watching you almost lose it.

Looks like you guys had fun!
GAGS - WHY ARE THERE BALLS ON MY JEEP???

Oh, I guess I should have warned you guys - Mark spots people to get them stuck.

Thanks Bill for pulling The Valtastrophe off the rocks.

    THANK YOU DENISE AND JANICE!!!!
You two did more than your share at the COHVCO booth. It was very much appreciated by COHVCO, and yours truely.

Lack of vendors was entirely due to EJS. Next year, as Rock Kitty posted up, the OHV Expo will not coincide with EJS so we can get the big name vendors here.

Actually, lots of stupid pedal is my driving style, and if you build your junk right it wont break, but if it does build it better next time..
