Felt like watching Packers vs. TB for the 3rd time this year.

Drunk Tom Brady made me smile. But drunk Brady throwing the Lombardi from boat to boat made me cringe. The lack of respect for something most will never get the honor of holding made me sad.

This offseason is shaping up to be an interesting one. Seemingly every QB is on the trading block. Players demading trades. Wondering where everyone is going to end up. Anyone have any thoughts?

  4. #124
Players are going to need to lower their expectations of a big payday. With the cap going down for the next few years and a lot of high profile free agents on the market, there is less money to throw around so thus smaller paydays. I know some of the players aren't going to accept that, and they might end up pricing themselves out of the market. I anticipate longer deals, with more money loaded into years 3-4 than in 1-2. Will be an interesting off season for sure.

My money would be on Green Bay or the Steelers. But Bills are supposed to be interested too.

The smoke around Miller usually means there is some fire to it. But it all could be just another ploy to get him to take a smaller salary.

Broncos place franchise tag on Justin Simmons in hopes of reaching long term deal at a later date.

Jerry's hands were tied. He had no other real options. He really wants another ring before he dies.

Didn't feel like a "championship move" ... JJ Watt has been my youngest son's favorite player since he was 3 ... Many jerseys in many sizes and a couple of pics hanging on his wall .... He was a bit disappointed ...

Thought other destinations made more sense .... beyond the trophy hunt, would've been cool to see him in Pittsburgh with 3 brothers playing NFL ball with the same team ....

Either way, we'll root for him...

I am too. Was hoping he'd turn into a great gadget player. A good buddy reminded me he wasn't a great pass catcher out of the backfield, so that is where they probably decided to part ways.

49ers trade up in the draft to the 3rd pick. Miami gets the 49ers spot at 12th this year and the a 1st and 3rd next year and a 1st the following. Guessing they like a QB

yeah, they're getting a QB and probably like 2 of them that will be available ... might see Garapalo get reunited with Belichick?

Been fairly impressed with the Broncos free agency period this year. Might just be because Elway is finally out of the picture, but nonetheless.

Finally signed Simmons to a multi-year deal. Kept Miller, Harris, and Jackson. Signed Fuller, Darby, and Boone. If their O line keeps developing together with the addition of James finally, and Lock can keep the mistakes to a minimum, they might have a chance at breaking .500.

I dunno, I think Bill is willing to see what Cam can do this year with the new fire he seems to have
