    Cool Finding Common Ground

    Hey Guys and Gals!
I had the opportunity to work with TreadLightly! and Fat Tire beer (New Belgium Brewing) on a project called Finding Common Ground.
Now before you get all because we had Fat Tire blacklisted as a company to buy product from, understand that they have made a 360 turn around and that letter we all were pineing off of 10+ years ago as gospel on companies not to support, Fat Tire is no longer one of them.

Please watch the video, and share away. The more times it is watched on FB and YouTube, the more they will donate to TreadLightly! (they started at $10k and are adding to that amount with each view and like.)

We filmed it in Moab. The Mtn Biker is Rene, and she is from Ft. Collins.

    Glad to see that...

Can't say that I totally black listed them, but they moved to a "last resort" at the beer store. So it's cool to see them be un-boulder.

Thanks Guys & Gals!!! It was 3 days of filming, yes I crashed on the bike (hence the jacket), and I exploded a u-joint just past the creek on Cliffhanger taking the far left buggy line in the JKU. DOH. Rory from Moab 4x4 to the rescue because I didn't have a hub socket. Double DOH. He laughed at me, as I expected he should.

As a Mtn Biker and (former) long time wheeler I've had the displeasure of seeing the worst in both sides when I was either wheeling or biking. But because I did both I just couldn't understand why so many had to look at the other with that "lazy ass redneck" (mtn biker) or "you think you're too good" (wheeler) look they give each other out on their moment of adventure. These 2 activities share much of the same thrill as each other the way fishing and hunting share more similarities with each other than one might think.

Here's to hoping like hell more people can see and grasp the message your film conveys

FYI the URL at the end of the video doesn't seem to work but the link off of New Belgiums website does. The proper URL is: https://www.tpl.org/

Totally agree ASCTLC. In my teens and early 20's I was into mtn biking as it was a more affordable way to get into the mountains and find my "therapy". I still love it, but time, location, family have made it much harder. Wheeling is hard too, but it's something I can take my young son with me to do whereas he's not yet comfortable enough on his bike to do any trails. That will change in the next year or two, as will our location so I hope to expose him to mtn biking as well.
