At least OBJ will have Baker Mayfield, the other Manning is way too long in the tooth.

Not looking forward to watching Flacco. Still not over freezing my ass off in that playoff game, and he hasn't done much since then?

Gronk should have retired at least two years ago. Dude's gonna be feeling it for the rest of his life.

I agree that Gronk retired too late. His body is wrecked. I never got the impression his mind had far to go to get to wrecked.

Lots of drama going on ahead of the draft. AB and Ju-Ju having it out on Twitter. Rosen on the trading block. And the big news of today is that if Russell Wilson doesn't agree to a new contract with Seattle by end of day today, they are done negotiating. Things could get interesting up there

Sweet, another QB for us to sign!!!
    hookers and blow!

the cost for Wilson will be way too high, not that he isn't a great QB, just that what Seattle will want for him will make the team that picks him up struggle to surround him with a supporting cast that makes it worth picking him up.

Russell Wilson is now the highest paid QB in the NFL. He also received the biggest signing bonus to date of $65 million.

I have never thought of him as an elite QB, more of a good QB. But he has gone to 2 Super Bowls, winning one of them. And has a slew of playoff and division wins.

  21. #21
I think that given the QB's in the league right now, Wilson is elite.

The money in pro sports is retarded, I don't hate, i just wish i could be one of them

    Draft starts tonight? Any predictions?

Wondering who is getting traded during the draft. Should be interesting. Even Chris Harris Jr asked for a trade...

Broncos trade down in the first round to select a sixth rounder, don't address current needs, way to go Elway!

This is awesome and completely accurate. In all of Elway's brilliance, he gave the Steelers the 2nd best LB in the draft, who will be a difference maker for years to come, for two second rounds, but had to waste two first round picks to do so

Love the Broncos' second pick, Dalton Risner. Home State boy from Wiggins. Can play any position of the O-line. He was a 3 year captain at KC State, and that is saying something. Elway finally improving the O-Line. I like it.

I was afraid that Elway was going to draft Lock with the 10th overall pick. I thanked god he didn't. But with him still on the board at #42? How could Elway not draft him. Might be a smart move. Lock has publicly stated that he grew up wanting to play for KC, but since they got Mahomes, he wanted to go somewhere that would play, and beat, them twice a year. So it seems both Elway and Lock, got what they wanted.

Not sure what to think about this, but hoping it works out.... agreed, was not a 1st rounder

I did see this coming, but Miami didn't give up much and trying to figure out if they made the better move in the 2nd round vs. the drafting of Lock...

    Should be fun to watch.....

Today was a better day, two promising offensive tackles and Lock a real value at 42.

I didn't understand the infatuation with Murray, Lock may be a better QB. With second round expectations he can sit behind Flaco and learn/develop for a couple years without the pressure of having to be "the guy" right away.

Hopefully one of the two linemen can be ready to play year one

  32. #32
He could be trade fodder for later. QBs become valuable as injuries ensue.

Well, Elway continued to be himself. But at least he drafted a decent offensive lineman. That is an actual need.

Goodbye and a huge thank you Mr Bowlen! 35 years with only 7 total losing seasons. As many as they had Super Bowl appearances during the same time. The winning culture here was started by you and everything you did for the team, it's players, the NFL as a whole, and from the example you set by being the man you were everyday. You cared and respected everyone, and believed that the Broncos belonged to the fans as much as they did to you. This one's for Pat!

Godspeed Pat Bolwen! You will truly be missed.
