yesterday an avalanche class got hit by one, which triggered another. First avalanch fatality of the eyhar in the state. 6 people caught in it, 1 died, "40 year old peter marshall of longmont". I'm hoping the news media didn't just accept the "correction" of moving everything in 80504 to Longmont.

I've wheeled with him twice. Super nice guy. Dark green/blue TJ and always wheeled with his daughters. He said he worked for SPC. =(

Very nice guy. My wife and I volunteered at a beer fest with him the past few years, and he was just helping me in a thread on a different forum 5 days ago. I thought he had mentioned working at SPC, but I am not 100% on that, so I didnt want to add to the speculation.
I too am hoping that he pops back up and replies to my PM's

That's too bad. I communicated with him only once about 5 years ago and only have that one impression still with me about him: Nice guy who was considerate to think of and help others when they're need.

He lived a full life. Wish it could have been a longer one.
I am constantly amazed at how quickly life can change.
My heart goes out to his family. That has got to be difficult.Last edited by vb; January 9th, 2019 at 12:12 PM.

A couple years ago I walked into Echo and thought for sure that was him at the next table, working at something on his phone, so I said "Heya, Pete!" Oops - no recognition - mistaken identity. So I texted him a picture of the guy - "dude, I swear I thought this guy was you!". It was him. To me, that was funny.

If there are more than just a couple of us going, do you reckon we ought to try to group our vehicles so the family knows that part of his life is remembered and represented?
