    Google Sheets!

it is like a free version of excel (uses excel file format, even) and will allow you to edit and sync files across mobile devices and computers. It is available for Android and iOS as well

One Note also has handwriting recognition and is usually free when you already have the office suite. Getting it to convert handwriting to Excel might be interesting though depending on how detailed you need the layout to be.

X2 for Google Sheets. Works great and if you want or need to you can share it easily.

I despise one note. I have no need for it but it constantly tries to interject itself whenever i print stuff on my PC at work and there is no way i have found to delete it.

    Try this first. https://intotomorrow.com/uninstallin...om-windows-10/

If that doesn't work try this

    1. On the Start menu, select the gear wheel Settings icon.
    2. Select System > Apps & features.
    3. Select Learning Tools for OneNote, and then select Uninstall.
    4. Follow the directions on the screen.

I'm not aware of a way to efficiently get hand writing converted to text in Excel/Google Sheets but I've never tried.
The bigger issue, from my POV anyway, is the desire to store customer notes in Excel.
I think One Note (or Evernote if you're CC ) would be ideal for this because it handles handwriting fine and you can set it up to have excel files for billing, budgets, etc...that you might already created.

    Just my $0.02

Ok, yeah, Excel isnít going to do that for ya.
Check out OneNote or Evernote https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/a...ith-your-phone

If youíre just looking to capture what you write down Iíve used JotNotPro as a handheld document scanner for years. You can save the scans as images, convert to PDF, email them, etc...

I'll throw this out there, I'm not a typer as well. Swype (it's not hand writing at all, its typing by drawing lines) had made taking digital notes on a touch screen device paletteable for me and has allowed me to down size carrying a laptop for work to just a phone these days. It took some time and training but if you're dysgraphic like me it will turn your life around and make you as good and fast as a teenage girl at the mall in typing notes. It's not for everyone, but I can say it was literally a life changing technology for me.

It's a couple of steps, but you could take hand-written notes, or anything on paper, and use a smartphone app to make a pdf (I use CamScanner). Once you get a system going, it works pretty quickly. I load all the camscanner images to my google drive, then can grab them and stick them into excel files, word files, etc.
