    Fall Leaves 2018?

I heard from my dad in Keystone that the leaves have pretty well turned north of I-70.

How are things looking down along 285 toward Salida and Pagosa Springs? Anyone got eyes on the area? Looks like I might get only one chance to make a run down that way this year.

I heard that the Alpine loop is starting to turn, trees down here are getting kissed mostly by the rivers. We took a ride to Chama on Saturday and the oak and cottonwoods are turning down there. I think the wife and I are going to do Stony Pass and either Cinnamon or Engineer this Saturday.

Just drove a good chunk of 40 over the weekend. there were a few patches that were starting to lighten, but maybe only 1-2 trees that were anything resembling amber. I would expect that in the next 2 weeks that run would be perfect. Maybe dillon to kremmling to steamboat and back down 131 over state bridge? then you could loop back over vail pass.

Kenosha pass is turning and the mountains around Fairplay, grasses are also changing colors. I was in Buena Vista this weekend and they are also turning. Not near peak but definitely changing.
I suffered trail rejection from a carb infection and after futher inspection fuel injection was my election for proper correction and now I want some gear selection, any question?

There is no prettier color on leaves than green because that means its still sweet, sweet, summahtime.

leaves around St. Vrain and peak to peak were changing this past weekend, with colder weather setting in some, this weekend may be near peak in some areas.

We did Stony Pass Saturday. Lots of Atvs\Utvs running around. The Rio Grande Resevoir is super low this year just like the rest of lakes\reservoirs in CO.

Well, the aspens in the South Park area are just about gone (none left on Kenosha Pass summit).

Still a a few patches here and there...

On the negative side, no snow on Webster/Red Cone yet. It's way too dry in the mountains...

Not really poking fun at you Allen, but what does your horizon look like?

I say this because I think Vern has the advantage over both of us lol

    We have some baby mountains.

Go to Pirate and search threads for Clayton OK. That is in one of our "mountain ranges" and is about an hour and a half from here. It is actually fairly awesome wheeling.
