I kept wishing that the camera was up a bit higher!

I should probably mount it on the roof or the front bumper. Where it is now I can reach it from the drivers seat if I need to, which is nice.

Thanks for sharing! At least someone is wheeling!!

But as for camera angles, the best ones seem to put the camera in jeopardy. As in, I think a great one is off the rear quarter where you can see both front and rear tires. This gives you a sense of what the rig is doing by the location of the tires (stuffed or drooping). With a camera mounted here or on a bumper, you really can't appreciate the size of the obstacles you are climbing over or the difficulty.

The other more involved option is to just set the camera on a tri-pod near the obstacle, run it and pickup the camera. Or have someone who loves filming and invite them along!

I'm jealous of what appears to be great weather you are having!

I have two cameras, usually one facing forward and one facing the rear. I didn't include any from the rear camera this time as no one was behind me. Typically I am trying to catch the person in front of me and behind me to show the obstacle and the difficulty. I did have my son with me this time but he wanted to ride rather than get out and film. Maybe I need to get a quadra-copter with a camera.

The weather was great, about 60 degrees and just a little wind.

How many seats do you have? Maybe someone with a 4k flying camera could ride along?

Those would be some cool shots, but even someone standing near the action with a camera on a stick makes for some great shots. Someone did that a few years ago on this very trail system.

Technically three seats but really only a kid or very small adult could fit in the rear seat so I took it out for storage room.

They have quadracopters that will automatically follow you now, way more money than I want to spend to record some weekend fun.
