Eh, if you have to be there at 8am... and leave at 5pm then i would agree its about 6 hours. I live in Westy and drive to Centennial almost every day, its about 40 minutes in the morning and I make sure to leave before about 2 to hit sites around town and work my way home. Some days I get home early just from lack of meetings, and so I have the luxury of working from just about anywhere. My favorite places are ones that people bring you beverages though.

Hiya Loons, long time no type. That kinda happens when the job is getting packed up in a handbasket and shipped of to hell, and the deck on your house suddenly decides to rot. Dealing with the passing of a parent ain't great either, but it bought me a little time of for bereavement. Think all in all, it'd be more fun to be rich, retired and skinny.

6 Hrs is right...for 9-5. The dude that got let go was usually leaving around 6 (not sure if that was due to hours of people he was supporting or because it took him too long to do things) so could be a 10-6 gig.

No, unfortunately, their purchase stream dried up in 2014, it was a fun deal but that pushed me into the commercial side of things. We have a ton of HOA work going right now, hopefully that keeps us busy for a while. Ranging from interior hallway paint to civil and asphalt milling.

Not many sympathies needed, we pretty much parted ways peacefully 20 years ago. I understand he did pretty well in my absence, and went quick. He's being missed by friends and others in the family. I heard some good advice a while back, whatever you do make sure there's no regrets. It works.

    Never happen!

I threw together a green chili today using 1# of ground pork and 1# of hog jowls that came off the whole hog my buddy smoked a couple weeks ago. It will either be fantastic or bound for the trash.

Dunno much about hog jowls, but I remember seeing some dude on Top Chef get beaten up for not knowing that using pig jowls in his beans would put out some funky taste due to some gland or something.

Love me some green chili turns so hope it turns out gewd...

After football practice last night in 39 degree rain and Trey coming home an absolute Popsicle, it was good to have a night off..... and only 1 basketball practice this week with the other being cancelled....

Of course, that means football practice Weds and Fri, basketball Thurs, a football game Saturday followed by 2 basketball games later Saturday afternoon.

    Loons.

This is the biggest load of piggie I have ever done in the smoke house. Just over 130#. Best I can figure I could do almost 200# if I had to.

Actually I guess I could do 250# but it would take a lot of rotating as the bottom rack gets a bit too hot to just leave it there.
