There has never been a statement more true. That's why I left.

I still love it here, but the traffic does tend to suck. Combine that with the RE market and it's made me consider other places, but I'm not sure how serious that gets.

I do enjoy flipping houses. I sold my last investment property last November and I have not bought anything since. I am just now sending offers and am getting antsy to buy/flip/build something. I only want to buy something in my part of town because traffic sucks getting elsewhere.

I give you props Allen, as you are enjoying life in a place that is in your roots and familiar to me as to where I grew up. There are times I consider going back to a similar, smaller place.

Yep, it's definitely something very different and there's a reason it's in the new Raptor @ 450hp and the Ford GT @ 600hp.

It pulls hard through RPM ranges and the lack of turbo lag was surprising. Although I don't tow, I do drive it hard.

It's no secret to anyone who's paid attention over the years here that I 'm a long time Cummins fanatic and had some heavily modified Cummins trucks as well as some stock ones. In many ways, shapes, and forms, I've owned 24 Cummins pickups. I've never regretted switching to this Ecoboost truck. Granted, I don't really tow anymore, but I wouldn't think twice about it for occasionally towing an XYZ.

It's such an easy truck to drive.... Power when and where you need it; in town and on the highway; effortless at 85 going up the hills of I-70....

.... never thought I'd give a positive review of a V6... however.... I wouldn't make mods like exhaust, etc, so I'm glad I don't feel the need to.... V6 modified exhaust does not sound good... and I like how quiet my cab is.

With my DD driving style with no towing, I do still covet a highly tuned & supercharged Coyote V8 which does give a good sound through an aggressive exhaust.... I'm just not willing to pay for it and will keep my Ecoboost

Now I am hoping I come home with the new to me but used Platinum truck I am going to look at after work tomorrow.

The Platinums are very nice. I went FX4 as it gave me the Platinum stuff I wanted (loaded with leather heated/ AC seats, Nav, sunroof, power slider, and all that good stuff) but not the exterior stuff Mag Chloride destroys.... which you don't have to consider.

I hope that's a very nice truck.

I decided then that I wanted to live here at a young age. I graduated college and took the lowest of 5 job offers to come here in '93. Jodi was living with me in Irving, TX for a few months and came here with me sight unseen.

We loaded up the UHaul and moved to Aurora. Now that my family, friends, job, connections, kids schools, kids sports, and you name it, is here, it's tough to look at relocation.... Been here 24 years.

I like Tundras... had a 500HP supercharged V8 version right before I got my F150.... I did like it.

Had a 6.7 right before that for 4 years.... Loved the truck, but hated the time it tried to strand me after I deleted all the emissions crap...I got that fixed and it was a badass truck after that.
