Finished the ripper and drag tonight. Get to test it on o e of my food plots Saturday. Paid $10 for the ripper at auction. Made the mount from steel I had in the pile. Added railroad spikes I picked up on the tracks.
You remove the ripper tines to use the dead function.

Oh joy, Windows 10 was installed on the pc at krow last night.
I never used it until now, looks like some good stuff. Except the new Edge vs IE. I'm having to use IE or chrome or Firefox as most the applications for krow don't work in edge as of yet.
Learning curve time.
It is not the end. It is not the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning.
In a few years you can probably pick up a used Fiat for 50k.
There is a good chance I'll be headed home with a new to me truck tonight. Been working on this deal for 2 months. They finally came off their price. 09 chevy 2500 ext cab duramax Allison 58k.
Sweet deal Bud! I think you're gonna like the Duramax.
Of course being a Chevy, it will need the whole steering replaced with almost 60k on the clock but it would still be a good truck if it's cheap.
Done deal. Pick it up tomorrow.
CC my current cheby has 170 on it and I have had no steering issues. Now my dodges. Those all are steering components.
27k. It's more than I wanted to spend but I was looking at that much for a 1/2 ton gas with the same miles so I decided it was time for another oil burner.
It is a one owner well taken care of. The couple who owned it got a smaller camper and decided that they are not going to pull the mountains so they ordered a 1500 HD.
Thats an awesome price!! you will love the truck, if it doesn't have navigation, i have a line on a good factory replacement that is between 400-700 depending on the amazon deals. We put one in my 14 as well as the wifes 08 yukon.
And i know a shop for tuning too.... you would be amazed what you can get coming off the factory setup in regards to power and gas mileage
This all seems vaguely familiar...where the fawk am I? howdy loons.... nice pickemup budman

Top of XJ is starting to get some minor rust spots. Very superficial at this time but I know what it'll become if I don't address it. Fortunate there's not the typical rust infestation at the windshield channel as most XJs I've seen have.
Think it's time to sand, paint, and clear coat it.
Whoever ends up buying this thing from me is gonna get one hell of a clean set up daily driver!
Went to the Ford place after work and walked out on them for the second day in a row. As I was walking out, they raised the trade in value of my truck by $1000 which still isn't gonna buy it but they are getting closer. I just sent a counter offer.
