Yeah I really don't like pandora.

I pay for google music and the stations are much, much better. The algorithms they use are really good and prevent that from happening.

I have always known I work harder than others I work with in the hope that it would be recognized come promotion and raise time. Well today was my convo with my boss about the annual raise.

Well THAT sucks. I would have been tempted to tell them to just keep it because they obviously need it more than you.

There is just no need to work better than others any more in today's corporate world.
But for some reason I still keep doing that.
Lucky you got something, that how they will make you feel.

Sucks ass alright! I hope you don't have to callous up and get numb to it like I did.

Told my boss showing me what being the "work horse of the organization" to the co/org actually meant to them well before spending a whole year groveling for me to rescind my severance application might have actually affected my decision.

Does this mean you'll go golfing more this year? And I ain't talking that hippie crap either

Its still cheaper than keeping a wheeling rig going.

I don't get a year out of my rear tire. Too much weight and twist. W

"HR has conducted salary surveys and determined that we are paying competitively."...which is the main reason people keep leaving. I'm going to look elsewhere myself, though they pay me a lot better than the rest of the team, because they're re-organizing to not require a clearance for my position any more. I don't ever want another year like 2003.

So after my coming up on being 2 weeks late being built and delivered and i was last told that it would get here Sunday or Monday, i just had the delivery driver call me saying he was 5 hours out and would have it here this evening. At least the delivery went faster than promised.

    That's the one I got.
It worked as well as the gasser that it replaced. They both bogged down in some really thick stuff, and they both shut down in the thick stuff if I went too fast.

    Overall I'm happy with it.
