And what the hell is so difficult about pronouncing "Newell"? The worst I could see is among Hoosiers, who would end up pronouncing it to sound more like "fuel", like they do with "Hewell". Though without the unvoiced leading consonant, I think it'd come through unchanged, since the y sound doesn't flow automatically from the n, and "nool" is just awkward.

    The day after Monday.

Mid 70s with no rain...until tomorrow night.
Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
    Stupidity is the same.

It was very nice this morning in Parker to sit through Trey's girlfriend's graduation at a football stadium ... approx 800 kids. Fortunately, it wasn't alphabetical and she was randomly placed in the first group. We were able to to make a somewhat early exit and avoid the mass exodus of cars

My vacation seems to have been cursed the Wednesday before leaving the FL pass away then the next Monday while on the trip a coworker passes. And the next Sunday my Aunt passes away. So much for stress relief.

Just had an itty bitty thunderboomer storm roll through but it didnt last long enough to rain much. Hopefully thats all we get today because if i cant mow this weekend, im pretty screwed on getting it mowed before vacation and its already deep.

If you remember (or ever saw) the stoopid show "Celebrity Death Match" .... I'd love to see an episode relevant to CO4X4 ....

Happy sadurdee. 59 to a sun shiney 77.

I have lots to do today to get ready for vacation but first, im gonna run down to The Colony close to Dallas and do some shooting right quick.

Shadow Systems is releasing a new compensated version of the CR 920 which is my current carry gun and they are putting on an event where you can shoot it for free. They same it reduces the felt recoil to where it feels like shooting a full sized gun and im curious to see how well it works.

That Riflegear store/range is freakin cool. The new CR920p is cool enough that its a good thing that a guy cant buy a handgun out of state since i am WAY over budget over the last year on guns and ammo or i would have come home with one. Ill most likely order one when i get back from vacation.

I got there 30 minutes before they opened and there were only 8 or 10 people in line in front of me but the place was packed when i left. Im gonna have to go back and check it out better when i have more time. They have any gun a guy might want including all kinds of evil black rifles that kill people by themselves.

Don't eat those pizza rolls ... If there is any filling left, it is pure lava and gonna hurt. That how pizza rolls work.
