And what the hell is so difficult about pronouncing "Newell"? The worst I could see is among Hoosiers, who would end up pronouncing it to sound more like "fuel", like they do with "Hewell". Though without the unvoiced leading consonant, I think it'd come through unchanged, since the y sound doesn't flow automatically from the n, and "nool" is just awkward.
