Sunshine and 84 now. Still havent seen hide nor hair of a thunderboomer. The weather monkeys say we have chances every day for the foreseeable future. I guess if you just forecasting the same thing over and over that you are bound to be right eventually.

Elizabeth is reported by Fox31 to have gotten 4.5" in the past 24 hrs.

    Yup. It's Friday.

43 with rain headed to something only a little bit warmer...with more rain.

Folks are learning that everything flows downhill.

    Congrats on the new job!

I have a 2 hour round trip to Commerce City every day, which sucks even on company gas. Can't imagine 4 hrs.

I'm going to start with a motel 4 nights a week, and try to find a room to rent within a reasonable drive. I don't suppose anyone knows someone out that way who's got a spare room?

It's my intent to prove my worth while getting the clearance, and then attempt to renegotiate the arrangement, and as much as I want that clearance, if one of these other opportunities comes through, $30k more and remote, or at worst, commuting to Littleton, I'll probably burn that bridge. I'm going to keep looking anyway. But I've got to get back to work. I just found out the hottest lead is no longer considering me, saying my work record is too spotty. 16 years straight, with 2,5,2, and 7 years apparently means nothing with taking a year and a half vacation while the market came back, apparently. I think they read my 7-year run as 4 separate jobs, when I got hired to help split a company, then kept on at the new company, then stayed through a merger, and then changed contracting companies when my original one refused to deal with the company as it became. Same job, different names.

At least the directions to commerce city are pretty easy .... Go North until you smell it and then go east until you step in it.

From your house it's North, then East.

From mine it's North, then West.

    But whatever....

Thunderboomers have kept getting moved back all day just like the last 5 days and....well, ya know....the last time we were supposed to have continuous Thunderboomers for several days that never happened.

Ill give the weather monkeys credit for sticking to their story though. Still Thunderboomers forecasted for the foreseeable future every day. I mean....they gotta be right sooner or later.

Sunshine and 83 and im sunburned.

I love that. Riding through the rain, feeling the warmth, and seeing the rainbows, which remind me of Toyota-lovers.

Since I'm not quite sure of the listing order, does that make you Edwin, or Newell?

Newell although i go by Allen which is my middle name due to the fact that nobody knows how to say Newell. Its always neal or noel or nooooowell or anything other than just plain Newell. Yup, im a post at the end of a stairwell.
