Went to see Dad for about 3 hours ... He's doing better and the worry about his heart seems to have dissipated. Tomorrow will be a week and I expect him to remain in the hospital for another day or two until Insurance approves his rehab facility.

We ended up with a mostly sun shiney 74° day. The weather monkeys moved our thunderboomers back to 8 then to 10 and now they say around midnight.

    Wednesday.

    High of 40ish and windy.

    No snow.
Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
    Stupidity is the same.
And that’s why life is hard.

    Humping day is here.

Thunderboomers finally hit at 3am and rumbled and grumbled for a while and it has rained off and on since then but is about done for now. 53 only climbing to 58 for the high with the next round of thunderboomers supposedly hitting early afternoon.

The potheads were all evidently too stoned to wake up and go vote because recreational marijuana didnt even come close to passing which really surprised me.

Fairly typical for this time of year with the exception of last year. Last year was the driest we have had in the almost 10 years ive lived here and we still had around 40 inches of rain.

Dad coming home tomorrow.... Insurance declined him going to a rehab facility. Gonna be a PITA for a while. We are not equipped to handle what he needs, but I guess we will have to figure that out.

I went ahead and set clocks up on the alarm clock on the headboard, the stove, and the microwave. The rest of them will adjust themselves.

A well-anticipated yearly occurrence that makes everything better.

Jodi is one of those people who complain about it in terms of "losing an hour" or "adjusting to the time change." .... Total BS. Just sleep until 9am instead of 8am on Sunday morning since you have nowhere else to be. Adjustment over.

Thats a bummer, the insurance system is definitely not the greatest when it comes to followup care and everything.

I guess the rain chances have come and gone. Sun shiney now. Pork butt smoked at 120° for 2 1/2 hours and i just cranked it to 300° so it will do that till it gets a nice bark on it.
