Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
    Stupidity is the same.
And that’s why life is hard.

    Wednesday.

57 now, 57 later. Maybe even cooler, with a side dish of rain drops.

    Fall appears to have fallen.

I may or may not be gonna order me a new carry gun today. I just can't make up my mind between two versions of the same gun.

I quote the NWS just for grins but make no representations as to their accuracy. Anything can happen. Get a weather rock.

The predictive accuracy with any of it is always a roller coaster... even worse with snow accumulation guesstimates.

Our temp numbers are usually close and the difference between DTC and Parker is usually marginal. We've not moved much yet today and now I don't see a timeframe that would suggest above 64... Your numbers were probably closer here than my iphone

...looks to be cool again tomorrow.

I am a fan of Glocks I own, well, more than one of them and have carried a Glock 43 for the last 6ish years but honestly, they have fallen behind. This gun is everything today's Glocks should be but aren't. It's also virtually the same dimensions as the 43 but is a 13+1 instead of the 43s 6+1 although I do run plus 2 mag extensions so it's actually 8+1.

A couple notes about that video. As he alluded to, the video was made before the gun was actually even released so a couple things have changed. They do now come with different back straps for the grip so you can customize the grip for your liking. He also called it a 10+1 but they now come with a 10 round and a 13 round mag providing you don't live in a state with stupid chickenfawker..ish gun laws so it is 13+1. I did order an extra 13 round mag with the gun so the 10 round mag will most likely live its whole life in the console of the truck.

    Agreed ....

To expand, it's another dreary fall day. However, it appears that pleasant fall days could be in line for a few days.

Have you tried the intimidation method of bossing yourself around?

"I command you to fall asleep"

Yeah, it doesn't work for me either. However, I've been blessed with good sleep for 2 nights after 3 weeks of sketchy sleep patterns.... Not sure how long this will last, but I cherish the good nights of slumber. Hope you find them soon.

We still do not have a bucket much less a drop of rain. On the bright side, we only made it to 97 today.

Maybe get out from behind your desk and into the shop? Manual labor wears me right out and I sleep well.

    But I'm odd, I know.

I would like to sometimes. I do take several walkabouts a day just to keep my ass from falling asleep.
