She is good. The cooler weather and me loading the truck to go hunting has her getting wound up. We have done two trips in the last 2 weeks to let her run. Gotta try to get her back in shape for season. I'm hoping to get into a few more coveys than last year.

Just filled out a leave form for Friday. Going to spend the day either hunting little bambi's or scouting new places to hunt.
Maybe I can get lucky again and knock down a monster early in Bow season. That will fill my 1 buck tag and let me focus on taking other folks out.

Yep, I looked at both and crossed them up.I did say "or so", 100000 might be a reasonable limit going forward before splitting a thread. LF has over 460000 posts which is well beyond some of the recommendations I've been finding and it recently reached a point where I had to make a server configuration change just to keep the thread functioning. That's no bueno, so going forward I need to split threads earlier, before they cause similar issues.
The first post in the LF "part 1" thread was 9/24/2005. Part 2 begins 9/23/2015, so there's a decade of history in that first thread. May there be decades more in the parts to follow. There's no reason for this to mean "RIP Lunatic Fringe".
Animated gif thread has over 7000, random pic actually has over 28000. There is no hard number before a thread needs to split. Nobody needs to count posts, if a thread starts risking resource issues it'll be closed and split off into a second (or third, or...) continuation of the thread. Nothing is lost, the discussion doesn't end, it really isn't much different than a new page in a thread. Fwiw locking the LF "part 1" thread due to resource limits was discussed in the news forum at the beginning of the year so this has been on the radar for several months already. "Part 2" begins today.
It's good to hear there will be some flexibility when a thread needs to stop.

Just hooked my folks up with my neighbor, who is a realtor, in order to buy some property out here near my place. They are planning on moving out here in 4 years when they retire.
Meanwhile, just sitting here working. And occasionally getting more work done on my bathroom remodels. Should have my little bathroom completely done before the weekend is over. And hopefully the master bath done before I leave for two week in Oct.
