The paramedics came and got Mom yesterday ... She's in the hospital with a 3rd round of pneumonia. I've never seen her this weak. She's pretty sure she's about to die. It sounds like if she makes it out of there, hospice will be prescribed.
Not sure how I can help my father from falling apart.
Dang, that's rough. I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry and I will pray for her and your family.

Thank you Bill ... Yep, that is the task at hand. I have to ease the idea of him moving in with us. He will likely hate the noise & chaos of my house, but may adapt to that being comforting. He would have his own bedroom on the lower level, his own bathroom, and small living area.... Take over Mom's headphones for TV viewing to escape the noise-of-the-boyz ....
He would go from 32 stairs in his townhome across 3 levels to 2 shallow ones to get to the kitchen. This 3-day weekend will be challenging.
At least you have a plan. I hope it goes well.
