I actually considered my house to be on the outskirts when I bought it 8 years ago but not so much anymore. They have added another addition that joins mine to the north but it was only 30 or 40 houses. They have been clearing forest heading southwest of my area for the last several months where they are putting in another 130-something houses that will join up on the other end to new housing developments that they have been building there.
Currently, there is only one road in and out of my area and after they get the extra 130ish houses built, there will be two ways in and out. I sure hope the majority of new occupants go out the other way or traffic getting in and out may turn into a cluster.
The only good news about all the growth is that my house is only about 6% away from doubling in value since I bought it.
I know that brick is the standard way they build down that way but I just have never cared for it. Lots of nice features, expensive to maintain that much space.

Gonna get to 72 but wind already kicking up a bit with gusts up to 30mph expected... Might be able to squeeze in a short scooter ride with Court, but not going to take the Ducati's out as I expected.

There is a house a block over from that one that is freakin awesome. I just look at it in amazement every time I drive by it.
I just drove past the house that I think is the coolest one even though it's not the biggest one in that neighborhood and snapped a couple of pics that don't do it justice. I just love the round parts of the house and the fact that you basically drive through the house to get to the garage at the back.
It was for sale and sold a while back and the interior pic of it were way cooler than the one that Rex just bought imo.

I keep wondering how a 9600 square foot house only has 4 bedrooms though.
Theater room, game room(s), big bathrooms and walk in closets in every bedroom, 2nd & 3rd living rooms, office, library, music studio, inlaw living/kitchen...
We have looked a few in the last week that were 6-7000 sf and were only 5 bedrooms.

It's sundee. Currently 61 heading to a sun shiney 85. Unfortunately, my phone weather monkey says that a remnant of yalls week long toe nader is supposed to be here today and we are supposed to have 18-20 mph wind this afternoon. That does not bode well for kayak fishing.

It is kinda weird that the prices on the houses aren't higher than they are. I'm pretty sure that the house I took pics of was listed for 2.3 million when it was for sale a few years ago. There are also that same sizeish houses being built in that neighborhood so I dunno.
Your basic every day normal middle class family sized house around here as I previously stated with mine on the other hand has had drastic increases in price as demand grows from all of you fawkers moving here.
I guess there are rich people here but just not ubber rich people here so those huge houses just won't sell for the prices inflation has driven them to be.
The wind, she is still blowing but it's not terrible and I think I can get out of it for the most part on the smaller pond at Hickory Hollow so I'm gonna load up the kayak n stuff and give it a try.

Winds, wildfire and evacuation of a local rescue. It's been a day. All in all the firefighters rocked it! Pueblo pulled together and provided a lot of support for evacuating the animals, getting them set up at the fairgrounds and getting them back to the shelter. All the small dogs are in foster homes now. Exhausting and scary but it was amazing seeing everyone pull together

My phone weather monkey says is cloudy this mernin but sun shiney after about 3:00. It gives a small chance of rain while it's cloudy so I'm gonna do the right thing and ride the hog to work which should increase rain chances to 100%.
It already turned sun shiney so I guess I won't get rained on.
