I was thinking rotella T6 5w40 and putting in a zinc additive.

Yeah, the cold might not be great for 15w40. I didnt think about that.

Not a BIG Deal, necessarily, just a personal preference.

Ford filters for Ford vehicles - Toyota filters for Toyotas.

I run the T6 in my 6.0 and wouldn't hesitate to run it in an older gas burner. Pretty sure that's what I put in my '77 Dodge 360.

My newer Toyotas get 10w-30 instead of 0w-20 - I don't worry about fuel economy enough to sacrifice protection.

I'm doing a remodel for the GM of a Major (well-known) dealership chain here in Denver. He says to watch the used vehicle market over the next 45 days or so as it's shifting (softening), especially trucks. Just thought I'd mention in case you get a reasonable offer you are contemplating on yours.

That said, I did sell one today for my full ask of $12,900 -- '03 Avalanche w/125K miles I bought a couple of months ago as I was toying with the idea of selling mine and keeping that one. I listed it on New Year's Eve and expected a little more activity... The first guy to see it bought it and didn't negotiate, but I'm not sure what plan B would've looked like....
