I run the T6 in my 6.0 and wouldn't hesitate to run it in an older gas burner. Pretty sure that's what I put in my '77 Dodge 360.
My newer Toyotas get 10w-30 instead of 0w-20 - I don't worry about fuel economy enough to sacrifice protection.

Nah. I researched it a bunch, and decided that since this wasn’t a race truck or an off-roader, just a truck for me to putt around in, I wanted to keep it close to OEM..
Good move. You might want to pick up a second ignition module (the silver box on the fender) for the glove box, just in case.

That said, I did sell one today for my full ask of $12,900 -- '03 Avalanche w/125K miles I bought a couple of months ago as I was toying with the idea of selling mine and keeping that one. I listed it on New Year's Eve and expected a little more activity... The first guy to see it bought it and didn't negotiate, but I'm not sure what plan B would've looked like....
