Happy humping day.
Currently 50 heading to 73 with rain probable.
wow....
Refer to my previous comment about talking to someone that is actually in charge. Someone that is only approved to do something is pretty low on the totem pole. But i get that you wouldn't want to waste your time there ever again....
How have the bites from posting it online gone? any interested offers? Where does KBB land on the value of it for someone that would be getting financing? More curious in general than for me. When i bought my truck, the bank about peed themselves because i was buying it for 10k less than their expected value, so i know that is a part to consider.
hookers and blow!
It’s hard to get a genuine value because of the mods…
I’m told that “stock” in its current condition is $57k-$59k. That was what Stevinson Toyota told me based off KBB, NADA, and JD Power.
But it’s got a few high end mods.
I totally recognize that those mods aren’t investments - and I’m not expecting to get my money back out of them, but I think $60k is not unreasonable.
We’ll see what happens
Since they are in the business of making money they won't give you over wholesale. Not sure how mods would affect their wholesale number but the base truck is wholesale +/- what affect the mods would have...which as you already know isn't likely to be much at all - especially at a dealership.
The "rain" is done and moved out. Sunshine now but still not hot.
Now its nice outside which makes me not wanna be at work.
Second 4 day weekend in a row starts tomorrow.
I could get used to this.
Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
Stupidity is the same.
And that’s why life is hard.
Im thinking that i may get hosed on my 3 day weekend as fridee has now become a "play it by ear" thing due to all these people suddenly deciding that they need to spend 50 or 100 thousand before the end of the year for a tax write off. Same crap happens every year...
I wish i made enough money that i had to spend that kind of money for a tax write off.

This is supposed to be "relaxed" week ... It became busy week.
It's cold now and I know the snews are hiding around the corner ... Guess I'll make non-busy week happen then, but it won't be "relaxed" since I might have to shovel the little white bastids when they show up ...
You can of course deduct taxes paid on almost any purchase but unless you have a farm or ranch or own some other type of business that you can claim said toys are required for that you can depreciate them out on, i dont know how it would benefit you. I am certainly not a tax person though so maybe there are other loopholes.
Happy most likely fridee mernin eve thing although im still holding on to a thread of hope that its actually fridee.
Cold this morning at 43. Heading to 75.
Sad stuff going on right now with the town of Superior burning down ... Louisville also evacuated
I didnt know yall were supposed to have winds in excess of 100 mph today. Thats crazy.
It’s wild here. And now flammable snow is coming tonight and tomorrow!
Most destructive fire in Colorado State history. This is really ****in bad
Need a business so you can take the depreciation
Now you get it, maybe a skid steer to build the jumps.
Make $100K in the business, you have a tax liability of $30k. Spend $30K on shiny stuff and depreciate it 100% in the first year, that becomes a reinvestment in the business that is a $1 for $1 offset of your tax liability.
Happy fridee although im hoping its only half of a fridee.
54 looking for 73.
Hopefully its snewing on the farr there to help get it out.
on a lighter note that is not the dreadful fire situation ....
I love the sweptline trucks ....

We did manage to be done with work shortly after 12 so thats good. It did sprinkle just enough to glue dust all over the black truck so it needs dusted badly now.
So, I mentioned my recently renewed obsession with motorcycles ... I mean, it makes perfect sense as it's 28 outside and snewing right now.
Beyond the big street legal dirtbike recently acquired, I did just strike a deal this week (and take delivery in a week or so) on an absolutely amazing 2011 Ducati 848 Evo that looks just like this one...
