Hey, any opinions on how a UTV with a 93" wheelbase and 10" of clearance would do on rocky forest service roads? Will those things drag themselves over, or are they better for just dirt road and sand running?

I LOVE my '05 Mule. I do not use it much on the trails, but it is my most used workhorse around my property. Mine is a gasser with 4x4 and a rear selectable locker. I have a winch mounted on the front, and put a plow on it during the winter. The rear has a hitch and also a 1000 pound capacity electric dump bed. The bed is just big enough to fit and haul a standard 4'x4' pallet. I use it as a golf cart while shooting sporting clays, and as a get around vehicle for my property. Finally brought a 3 door home. The 'burban has a clean CO title, runs and drives forward (reverse is out), and has a body I don't mind hacking to bits. It needs a bunch of bodywork but I will be throwing half away so starting with a parts rig just sounded better to me. Plus there are new patch panel that will be purchsed to speed the bodywork along. Not sure when I will actually get to it, but I finally have the start to my "dream" truck, 1967-1972 GMC/Chevy crew cab pickup, that was never actually produced. Build the 3 door crew cab and then a gooseneck bed like what's on my F450, but shorter. Only want an 8' bed, not a 10'. All on top of my current Dodge chassis with the 12v drivetrain. Going to be one of those projects that takes forever, but I have been planning this for a long time now, so it's neat to finally be getting some more of the pieces together. A big step towards completing another one of my dreams/goals.

This weekend is supposed to stay below the 80's with chances of moisture all weekend. It will be a nice change of pace from the 90's we have had the past month. It's been downright hot already this season.

Thanks. I figured it'd be good for plowing, and I'm not looking for speed. My land is too steep to drive around on, so this would just be for hauling dirt to repair the road, plowing, and forest service roads for fun.

For the price, I couldn't pass it up. Paid for it what parts rigs go for. And the old 350 motor will go into another project of mine. Plus the back window has a "I am the Stig" sticker, so it was meant to be.

That's awesome! Have you healed up well? Or still recovering some?
For the most part all healed up! Endurance is slowly getting better, stairs and ramps give me some issues, and my lower back and pelvis is still really tight and gets achy easily. I don't feel like it really holds me back anymore from doing things that I want to do. Except maybe hiking but I think I'll be able to do some by the end of summer

So went to dealer to talk trucks. With the state of things it would take 6 to 8 months to get one delivered. The new Broncos are in the same boat. They having a major problem getting any new cars do the chip shortage.
