It is for me. I have found myself renting one a lot over the past year. I have several big projects coming up that will require moving lots of material. So I decided to buy one.

The welder is mostly to be used as a backup generator for the house. But I figured why spend all that money for something that will just sit in the yard.

Also one of the big projects will require a bunch of welding

More to come on those as I get to them.

I wasn't even going to put the paddle tires on the yammerhammer this time because i didn't figure my shoulder would fell like giverhellerish driving anyway but now right before loading it, i changed my mind so its tire swapping time.

I am all loaded up almost a week early. All i lack is last minute cooler loading etc. I did kinda aerate the we back yard a little bit with the paddle tires but not too bad. I also did get the HOG loaded in there with everything else so i can use that to run to the showers on etc.

I had already shut down and was fixing to build food for lunch when one of my chick friends from CO called wanting some BS new chick drink that isnt available it CO yet so I had to find that for them. They wanted a lot of it.

    You're WAY ahead of yourself.

Take it all out and don't reload until the night before you leave.

I didn't know they made that .... might be pretty good ... Do they make it in non-cherry regular Sonic Limeade?

I don't drink soda or stuff like that, but Sonic's regular limeade is the one thing that I'll occasionally get ... never thought about it being infused with a little alcohol.

I dunno. She/they originally wanted me to bring this variety pack but i only found what i found after an exhaustive search of one store because that was all the effort i was willing to put into it. She said yeah, buy it all so i did.

Kid basketball tourney was fun yesterday in Parker. Those 4th graders ran the table and went undefeated winning the 5th grade tournament. Court was balling and went off. The championship game was against another undefeated team that brought in a kid going into the 7th grade. He was tall and pretty good, but Court frustrated him and out-performed him on many head-2-head matchups ...

After the kids got their championship medals, the tournament directors attempted to give that team the 2nd place medals, and the coach said they didn't want them and walked off. I guess that's what some coaches are teaching in kids' sports.

My niece thing aka my nephews wife's dad died a couple months ago. He was retired military and a fairly accomplished competition shooter. Anyway, she has over 300 guns anywhere from hand guns to rifles to shotguns along with massive amounts of ammo and reloading equipment that she is liquidating. She has been cataloging everything and keeps finding more every time she goes there but she has 5 STI hand guns in 9mm or .355 which apparently is the same thing which i assume were his competition guns. DAYummm they are expensive.

Anyway she just sold me 2000 rounds of 125 grain JHP 9mm for .25 a round so i am happy about that.

Also, is there anyone here who reloads? She has lots and lots of reloading equipment and i wouldnt mind getting stuff just to reload 9mm although i never thought ammo prices would come to that point. I need info on what all i need to do that.

    I reload rifle stuff

    Basics

    Press
    Dies
    Scale
    Brass tumbler
    Brass
    Bullets
    Powder
PRIMERS (these are like hens teeth right now)

Thereís a few other little things but these are the big items.

Iíd get a powder thrower for handgun stuff. I donít use one because I like to hand measure each load for my rifles. I wouldnít be so particular with pistol.

What is a powder thrower? Just in the pics she has sent, there are at least 5 or 6 presses which all seem to be the same or at least they look the same. The same can be said for what i assume to be brass tumblers. There are also buckets of brass and although i havent seen pics the niece things said there is tons of other stuff so i assume that includes bullets and powder and primers n such.

You pull the handle and it gives you a set amount of powder. Makes weighing powder for each round very quick. Som presses have them as part of the machine.

Like Bud, I use a powder thrower for pistol but measure rifle loads individually by exact weight. Precision is far more stringent for a rifle than a pistol and the kind of powder weight precision needed for a rifle just isn't realistic with a powder throw.

3 is a press with dies in it. No way to tell from the photo what dies. 5 all look like heads for a press. I suspect he has a press somewhere and each of those is set up for a different load. 7 is a tumbler. The others are fancy stuff that Iím not sure about. I think 1 is for casting bullets.

Its toozdee. Currently 70 looking for 80.

The weather monkeys show a 60% chance of thunderboomers which i will go ahead and bump to 100% due to the fact that i already had loud thunderboomers roll through about 2:30 this morning followed by your basic rain cloud after that which was moisturizing at the rate of a cow pissing on a flat rock.

    Die monsoon season, die.

I only got a little over an inch of rain last night and this morning before the sun came out but other places close got a lot more. On the bright side, the moisturizing percentages are at least lowish for the next couple of days and its supposed to be in the high 80s for both of said days so there is at least a remote chance that i might get to mow before leaving for the dunes fridee.

All loaded up and ready to head out in the morning. I have to make a pit stop in Ardmore to pick up 2000 rounds of 9mm but after that, Scooby and Scrappy better cross their legs because we arent stopping for anything but gas.

The yard needs mowed really bad but its still way too soft so if any of you feel like swinging by and knocking that out while im gone, i would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

There are none of those. It isnt as green as it should be because its been swamped for two weeks.

Scags are good. We sell them as well as Kubotas and Toros.

It aint that far. If you leave in the morning, you could get it knocked out and be back home saturdee evening.
