Well instead of thunderboomers all day, we ended up with sunshine so i guess i should probably go for a ride on the hog.

I wonder if i should tape a pill bottle full of gas to it somewhere for a reserve tank. It holds about a gallon and a quarter of gas and is supposed to get over 100 miles per gallon but it doesnt have a fuel gage, only a low fuel light. I wonder how many teaspoons of gas you have left when the light comes on.
From the only state in the USA where O'dumbass failed to carry a single county. :hail:

After this past weekend's trip, a client and I were discussing which states had the worst drivers. I have long held that MI drivers are far worse than any others. I have watched people make lane changes without looking, drive 10 mph in a 65, and 120 in a 30 mph zone. Have seen countless numbers of idiots try to merge with the trailer I was pulling, or cut me off while pulling heavy loads. They do not follow lane restrictions, and stop signs are completely optional. But I believe they have new competition. Iowa drivers aren't as bad, but crap they are annoying. Not sure if they have speed laws for the left lane like we do, but there are signs clearly stating to stay right unless passing. An incredible amount of people thought 10-20 mph UNDER the speed limit, in the fast lane, was perfectly acceptable. Almost no one made their way out of the left lane when faster traffic came upon them. Almost all made the faster drivers pass on the right. Made driving through that state twice in 48 hours horrible.

So, what states do you think have the worst drivers?

    Lulz....

One of my all-time fav movies ..... In high school, everyone knew I loved that movie ... It's also when Motley Crue released "Dr. Feelgood" .... Not sure how those 2 things got connected, but everyone had some sort of nickname ... mine was Feelgood Elwood.

It didn't exactly make sense, but none of the nicknames made any sense

It's been a while since I've been there, but I remember a lot of old people in Florida wearing big hats, or the opposite where you can't see their head, but just their knuckles on the steering wheel. Both options were equally bad drivers.

Seriously contemplating making an offer on this .... It's so ugly, it's almost cool ... Biz partner will pay for it ... I told him we don't need it and we have no reason to buy it, but that's not stopped us before. I kinda want to just sand it where it is black/gray-primer/rusty looking with some new shiny old-school Chevy rally wheels with fat-ass tires in the back ... maybe have Trey drive it to school.

Back to High School nicknames ... Our school was very racially mixed and being in sports, I had more black friends than white ... Many of the sports kids or black kids ended up with nicknames....

Kelvin -- Fly (fastest running back in the county)
Anthony -- Pookie (this dude was my best friend)
    Ulrich -- Boot
    Anthony -- Boogaloo (Fly's brother)
Corey -- pronounced like "Soup" but was Sup as in short for superman. 5'7" and about 300 lbs --- He actually became the principal.
    Vanoid -- Bennie-Earl-Bootlegga
Talisha -- Love (she was no-joke of an athlete)
Roosevelt -- Plu (he was a Jr namesake and his dad was called the same who became good friends with my dad)
Clay -- Stickman (skinny, but a good basketball player)
    Rex -- Feelgood Elwood
Ricky -- HomePoop (equivalent of shitbreak on American Pie as he would not poop at school but the movie came out after that) He died a few years later when he dove into the wrong spot at a lake and broke his neck.
Paul -- Roper (non-athlete, but a cowboy friend that hung out at my house quite a bit)

I'm sure that I'm forgetting others, but it was funny hearing teachers actually address a kid as "Boogaloo"

Happy toozdee. Still no thunderboomers. They keep swerving around me.

Currently 66 on its way to mid 70s and yes, high probability of thunderboomers once again so we will see.

Todays rounds of thunderboomers are brought to us by Texas of course which is the standard case. They are heading right at me which is the same thing as the last two days and nights. We will see what kind of evasive action this group tries when they get close.

I thought "the Yeti" screen name was Morgan who is an electrician in Noco but didn't go to Antarctica. Maybe there were a few guys with that screen name? But I know for a fact that Chad (screen name Camp) spent a couple years down there.

Yeti was Justin Lilly's nickname. Justin spent a lot of time in Antarctica. I cant remember his real screen name on here.

Made a trip to OKC to look at all of our properties here. I have gotten pretty good at inspecting stuff with a drone, that i guess it has made me lazy. Problem is that most of OKC is in a flight path of something, so I got to get up on wet roof's this morning.... not my favoritest thing ever.

But the real reason for this post, did you know that there is still places in the country where you sit at a bar and smoke? I don't smoke or anything, but was surprised when i stopped for lunch that it was in a separate room and people were smoking. This post is brought to you in the smoking section of a BWW...

CC, I checked, Durant is too farr..... at least with how people drive here it is....

No rain again today. It looks like the weather monkeys are backing off the rain chances for the next few days so it should start turd floating any minute now.

I got quite a bit done torward getting ready for the dunes this eve. We did get a rain shower about noon so the lawn remains soggy and my hopes of mowing before leaving are dwindling but it seems like i run into this every year before the memorial weekend trip and i always manage to mow the week before i leave so maybe it will turn around.

Was the dump trailer and welder for you or for work? Dump trailers are handy to have for sure and when you dont need it yourself, you should be able to rent out yourself, your truck, and your trailer for good money.
