I know I joke about very impractical daily drivers, but I really would enjoy driving this thing around when I don't need a truck or kid(s) in the back... For some reason, these things have always had a place in my brain....

I've been hoping he sells it so I don't go look at it... Window tint would happen on day 2.

Yeah, but it's half the price of the single-seater corvette go-kart, it has more seats, and I can drive it in rain and snews.

This may seem really stupid, but seeing this picture just made a light bulb go off in my head as a way to keep my smoked pork from getting quite so dry. Don't know why I always figured smoking something sitting in water was more like a crock pot than smoking. I have much to learn.

Don't use water, use something to add to the flavor. Pork loves apple juice. I use apple juice concentrate and usually wrap the pork up in a aluminum foil pouch to help keep the juices in, instead of them burning off. This is of course after the rub has had enough time to turn to set/turn into bark.

I dont know that any liquids were added to the pans although they may have been but yes, soaked apple wood chips were frequently added to the coals.

Trick to using any liquid when smoking is to never let it dry up. Drying out the container will infuse a bitter taste. Keep it full without having to keep checking on it.
