That was my Saturday so far...my wife's holiday business party tonight.

I ended up not doing anything. Have a scratch of a sore throat and just enough of a headache for me to be satisfied kicking back on the couch going back and forth between reading and watching tv most of the day.

Loaded up on vitamin c and hoping its just allergy drainage and that I'm not actually getting sick.

Mmm, long day for myself but got tons completed. Started out with helping a buddy with his truck. Once we finished up with that, I went and picked up my new riding mower ($1500 Toro that I got for $400, I love friends with closeout pricing). Then got to have lunch with a couple friends at a neat liitle diner in Longmont that I have been missing. Then picked up a new to me 55" monitor so I can put the 55" tv I have been using as a monitor out into the shop to replace the 32" tv out there. Hope to hook up the plasma table computer to it too. Then be able to see it from everywhere in the shop. Will hopefully make things quicker/easier for me out there. Tomorrow looks to be just a busy. But I do like to stay busy.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hope the Broncos don't suck to much tomorrow.

Hope Vern's bathroom is turning out well.

Hope CC's sickness hasn't completely taken over.

Hope Rex's knee is keeping up with his young ones active lives.

Hope Una is enjoying the new property and everything that comes along with that.

Hope Jake is recovered from his Moab trip and that he was able to repair the broken shaft with ease.

Hope Lissa is doing well and not keeping all of the puppies she transports.

Hope Scott and family are keeping up the good fight with trying to find a place to call their own.

Hope Rich and family are doing well, especially the expecting mother.

Hope Bill is still trucking and staying out of trouble.

And if I missed anyone, hope this will suffice

About to go make fajitas for dinner, but I can not stop thinking about lunch. Buffalo burger patty stuffed with diced onion and jalapenos and pepper jack cheese, placed on a bed of fried potatoes, topped with two eggs cooked anyway and cheddar cheese, and then smothered in green chili, or sausage gravy, or 1/2 and 1/2 like I ordered it. So tasty. Guess I will have to make my way up there more often. Forgot how good that place is.

I had gotten to be a really good tile-setter in the early years of flipping .... It was the last hands-on skill that I finally gave up to other individuals when I got too busy managing and sourcing multiple properties at a time.

Every once in a while, I think I miss it, but my knees and back definitely don't miss the floors...

10 basketball games since Friday night... Trey about to finish off feeder tourney in 10 mins, but I'm skipping the final "consolation" game... They had 3 close games so far Friday night and this morning, only winning 1, but the expectation wasn't high given their roster vs. the level of competition.

His club team dominated in a 3 game tourney last night and that was fun.

Court had to miss his local competitive team with his football buddies yesterday since he had a 3-game tournament in the morning with his club team. They went 1-2, but were playing up grade levels. They did endure a beatdown (59-10) in the final game, but kept good attitudes about it. It was a really good team of all 5th graders.

Ready for a break and sit on the couch in front of NFL RedZone, but will have to go meet with a client this afternoon. What should take 30 mins will take a minimum of 2 hours....

Kitchen -- major redesign with removing walls, delete dropped ceiling (with tons of electrical and plumbing), adding 2 large islands, enlarge window, replace existing window with accordion-style slide unit, replace existing window with exterior swing french doors, all of which requiring brick work .... add bar area, sub-panel, patio for new french doors, re-locate AC condenser, etc.

Hall bath gut-remodel, build out 2 new laundry rooms (upstairs & basement; previous one was in kitchen), entire main level of hardwood floors.

Finished drywall yesterday, so on the downhill side of things now...

Fantastic deal. Closeout pricing on discontinued model. Figure it should last me quite a while, especially once I get the tractor for the field mowing and only use this for the fenced in areas or tight areas the tractor won't easily fit. And I can then sell my old riding mower that is also setup with a plow, tire chains, and wheel weights, to free up some space. Trying to get items that won't require as much time to maintain and keep running, so I might actually get to enjoy my property a bit more instead of just working on it constantly

    Lewns!

Family is doing ok, 14 year old had the hard talk last night that he is probably looking at an alternative HS, we will see if that changes his motivation, about 50% of his assignments are missing.... even with considerations for his medical struggles, that isn't cutting it.

momma bear is doing great, we find out if we are having a boy, girl, or demon spawn on thursday.

Dropped everything to come show dads place to two realtors in the morning.

Really wanted to get the word too in there some how but too tired to think of a way.
