Anyone else get called out of bed too early this morning, only to be sent back once you have reached the jobsite? Ugh, I need a nap

Probably. I should really stop buying so many firearms, but I keep excusing the purchases by calling them an investment...

Probably more so for the client who get billed for it anyways, and will still need me to come out later, as they ran into problems and are even more delayed now. Oh well, maybe some lunch will wake me up, the caffeine sure hasn't kicked in yet...

sounds right, I feel like the value will only go up with time unless laws become more lax... and that seems unlikely

well, getting paid to go for a drive doesn't sound too bad aside from the sleep lost

I am still gonna bitch, after the late night, my sleep was more valuable. Especially since I know they will be probably calling again tomorrow, so no chance to catch up on it.

They are empty. Of course empty is probably better than filling them with yummy stuff then ruining them with mold.

I have parts laying around that have been laying around for about 5 years and longer. Fuel injection on the kitchen table, coil overs, recessed buckets, links, tabs, etc...

I've been guilty of similar things in previous years, but storage locations were definitely different.... Is there another place you could store your fuel injection other than the kitchen table?

Company insurance required that everyone take a defensive driving course so we all did that this today. Boring but worth at least a small discount on my auto insurance.

Decent day today. Currently 72 but it has been cloudy all day. The rain is supposed to start around midnight and go into fridee but the weekend looks nice.

knew you didn't have a wife, the transmission-in-the-tub-wifey thing was just a reference.... it's pretty common these days for my entertainment to only apply to me and I'm still good with that.

kitchen table = parts storage only ... Gotcha

Power steering on the '77 .... very cool

...off I go for the night.

I was planning to pay off some more of the house and the last part of the kitchen remodel with my bonus this year, but on days like today..... I am more motivated to get the fireplace swapped over to a wood burner just to kick back and not do any krow.

Mine's not a wood burner, but a large 2-sided that I converted to a gas-log unit with a remote control ... No glass, but I had custom "screens" fabricated for both sides from angle iron and expanded metal that were powder-coated. The log-set and burner are large enough to produce OK heat and a nice effect. We like to use it on cold nights, and I like the convenience of hitting a button for insta-fire and to shut it down at bed-time.

Court and I are on the couch with it on now watching DVR'd sports shows....

We had a gas.... but it was circa early 90s... and I am not sure about the intended purpose. I have wanted to put in a high efficiency wood one since we bought the place. Those are the ones with cat's in them to cut down about 95% of the stuff that comes out the chimney.

I definitely have a lot of heat loss from the chimney
