When i got home last night, I decided Sam definitely needed a bath and to just get it done instead of waiting for a warmer day. When Sam was all clean and i was drying him off, Cody hops off the bed and gets in the shower. As I was drying him off, Hershey starts whining. So I said okay your turn Hershey, off the bed and into the shower he went. Micah didn't want to get a bath like the other, but 3 were clean so she wasn't getting out of it. I had only planned on washing one pup, now they are all starting out the new year clean! I was so shocked by their willingness to go get clean. They are known for playing catch me if you can when its bath time, not this my turn and walking into the shower.

That's awesome! They were probably just so happy to have you home, that they were willing to do anything you wanted just to be with you.

My pup gets very excited right away when we come home from a vacation. But after a few minutes, he go into pout mode. He gets very defiant and tries to ignore us. He stays that way for a night, but usually by the next morning he has forgotten all about it.

The dogs hate that I can't take them on walks or to the dog park.

And me and Sam decided to break up, all good. Needed to happen, we ended amicably.

But I have a follow-up appointment today, so hopefully I get cleared to start walking!!

Cute pups!

First time at the new place that snow has stuck around. We still have about an inch covering everything, and drifts over a foot tall. Wind sucks.

But the nice thing about the snow covering, is it is the first time I am able to see all the tracks on our property. Tons of bunny tracks. But there are some from a cat that looks to be living under our deck. Also some from a raccoon that wandered through. But as I was checking out tracks, a HUGE coyote came running down our back driveway! He saw me about the same time I saw him, and he took off toward the north part of our property and then jumped the fence into open space. He was just a little bit smaller than my 80# hound, so HUGE coyote!. He was alone, and trying to get away quick. Guessing he may be the culprit for some of the bunny and chicken carcasses I have been finding occasionally on the property. Might have to follow some tracks today to try to find the den.

Dang, that is a huge coyote.
