Just under 2" so far today with more coming and places west of here got 6-8 inches which will mostly be headed for the lake.

It may be spring before i can mow again.

This asshole cost nearly a $1k yesterday when she decided to run in front of a car. Fortunately the Ranger's driver was driving slow but I don't think he saw her when she ran out in front of him. She missed the first tire and ended up balled up under the pumpkin. He stopped and felt really bad and I told him that it was NOT his fault, it was my fault. You could really see he was upset about it. I did get to watch it all in slow motion.

Good news is it's only a laceration and she's feeling really good today.

It has been 38 here for much of the overnight. We are only going to make it to 42 and then head toward 22 for the morning low for tomorrow morning.

I think the front range got some white schtuff

Loons... I have been thinking about a rig to pull behind the RV, and to use as a hunting rig. What do are your thoughts on this one?

It should work well for 1000 bucks so you don't lose much when it takes a crap. I wouldn't pay more than that for it. I had 2001 model. It worked well the whole time that it wasn't broke down.

    Deep thoughts -

The DFW metroplex is about 8900 square miles....Denver is 8600 square miles. Who knew?

Dallas has changed a LOT in the past thirty years since I was last there.

Fly in on Saturday morning and fly home on Sunday is not a bad weekend in the Big D...unless it's raining (which it was).

Hey Bud, the pre-97 4runners with the 3.slow are prone to frequent head gasket problems, for the money that guy is asking I would hold out for one with the 3.4. If you are set on an older model look for one with the 22RE 4 banger, that motor is hard to kill

If you had been paying attention to any recent posts by me, it might have clued you in on the fact that it was probably going to rain on you.

They claim head gaskets have been done and its a manual which is definitely a plus. It says make an offer so throw a $1000 at em and see if it sticks. It would probably do what you need. They are just a little proud of it.

I would think it's been a tough season, with all the weather the animals were probably bedded down for most of it

I just dumped my gauge and rainfall for last night through now came to another 3 1/2". There is anywhere from a 50% to 100% chance of rain all the way through Friday with the exception of Wednesday when there is only a 20% chance.

    The soggyness continues....
