Great times had up in Ft Fun tonight. Whiskey Shivers and The Dead South show was awesome. My wife even liked then both too. I figured it would be a little to blue grassy/country for her. Man, I need to get to see more live shows. That is something I really miss. Need to make more time for things that make me smile.

Just got off the phone with an adjuster for a fire claim project. He went for everything I asked for, and I was already fine with the total before. I guess this is one of those projects that make up for the ones that they fight you left and right on.
also, driving the taco for week 2... ball joints are going to be worked on tomorrow, and apparently I need to replace the Ubolts on the rear axle. and then rotate tires and attempt to bump the camber to where it should be. No one seems to want to do an alignment on something with wheel spacers, even though i could just buy 2" BS wheels and have the same thing....
i just hope they finish the wifes car soon, she is driving the diesel and that worrys me occasionally.hookers and blow!

I put gas in my diesel once. Completely filled the tank.
Was so used to diesel being the green handled nozzle. Didnt even look. Just grabbed handle and filled. That sucked

The trick to geese is to cook them slow. Cook em fast and they can get livery. A old boss clued me in to that and I found it true. While I actually like liver (had a great Liver & Onions meal over in MI a couple weeks ago - frickin YUM!!), eating a goose breast as tough as a sirloin steak that had a livery taste to it was just too odd for me.
Wife doesn't care to eat a grilled goose breast like a steak, she'll eat it, just not a preference. So we use it ground as we would beef. (in chili, casseroles, tacos, slow cooker pulled BBQ, sausages, jerky, etc). For that it's as undetectable from beef as elk meat is. We really like it in our homemade sausages (brats, Kielbasa, Italian, Chorizo....).
eta: Wife and my hunting partner won't eat brats, they, and I to a large extent, think they're greasy and nasty. But they jones for the one's I make...and so do I.Last edited by ASCTLC; October 11th, 2018 at 01:53 PM.
