Heading out on a ride. The first poker run is tonight so amber will be either driving or co-piloting my YXZ instead of riding her quad in front of me.

Got pulled over today on my way back to town from Kelly Flats. 87 in a 65. State Patrol was very cool. Looked over my truck, trailer, and the truck on the trailer. After making me wait for about 20 minutes on the side of the road, he came back and let me go with a verbal warning. Told me he had bigger fish to fry this weekend, and that since I had be so polite, if I promised to travel safely the rest of the weekend, he was fine letting me off. So freaking lucky. That one could have been expensive.

Maybe go buy a lottery ticket...? Lucky for sure.
All along the watchtower Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went Barefoot servants, too
Outside in the cold distance A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching And the wind began to howl

Hit 205 on squats and deadlifts before heading up for a hike. I think I'm gonna sleep well tonight.

Pretty decent day considering I snuck a pint of rum into the concert. Clear alcohol is a miracle

Good question, VB. Her parent or legal guardian should have provided those...

Got the stupid ****ing cone washers out. Hammering the edge of the hub body was the right approach. I have another shot at trying to pull studs with the double nut approach and it started to strip the stud so I'm gonna have to get a puller.

Ugh. Tearing into the front end sucks.

Half of me wants to half-ass it since I have an axle to build for it, but the other half says to keep replacing stuff and do it right the first time

If you look, she has em. They are just turned around backwards with the band in the front in the pic.

Didnt do any good in the poker run final results but we did find all of the checkpoints. Tomorrow, it will be time to defend my rodeo championship although i doubt it will happen. Lots of quick/fast rigs here.

It's a fine line. Personally I would vote to fix things right as you don't even have a swap scheduled in yet.

Super lucky and very thankful. The Trooper was a younger guy. At least younger than me. I still called him sir and was completely honest with him. He saw me LONG before I saw him. And I was in the wrong. He did his due diligence and checked things over thoroughly. I am sure he didn't want any more paperwork as he will probably have a lot already this holiday weekend. And I made a point of being respectful and polite and remorseful. He was a decent guy who had a sense of humor as he was able to make and take a couple jokes.

I will try to heed his request of me for traveling safely the rest of the weekend. I am heading out early in the A.M. to go shooting at a private outdoor range. Will be nice to shoot outdoors again. Been a while. Kinda wish we were going to be clay shooting as I don't get a chance to do that as much. But anytime I am able to put a few hundred rounds down range will be a good day.
