We did get considerable melting today ourselves. 50 and sunshine should pretty much clean it up tomorrow.

    Friday.

    28 headed to the mid-50s.

    Everything is mud.
Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
    Stupidity is the same.
And that’s why life is hard.

I would guess that about 95% of my white crap that looked like snew but wasn't snew is gone. Tomorrow should abolish the last of the little bass turds.

I'm grateful that the partly something ended up being nothing but blue sky and sunshine. The spirits are lifted considerably.

I have been playing with my "tactical vest" that carries multiple mags for the AR, the Glock 19 which it also holds, and the CR920 which still works in my every day carry holster along with the evil AR on a sling and practicing going from one gun to another and dropping and loading mags in all three of them as well as transioning from strong side to weak side shooting with the AR with all of the above involved.

All of the above and more will be put into play tomorrow at my range in real fire at target situations.

Without the vest holding all crap sticking out everywhere, doing a strong to weak side transition with the AR on sling is pretty easy. Just slip the slide up to lengthen the sling and good to go....ish. with the vest, I'm struggling with the sling hanging on crap going both ways and am in no way smooth about it.

We actually made it to a sun shiney 71. It was wonderful weather to burn powder in. I stopped by mom's house on the way home and there were 6 deer in her back yard. They know when hunting season is over although they are in no danger from me anyway.

The don't wanna factor multiplied by several as the time got nearer so I said fawk it and took the day off. The ponds at Hickory Hollow looked really good yesterday when I was out there shooting and it's been too long since I've been fishing so that's what I'm gonna do.

The new range has the pistol variant and it was fun, but the folding stock and the longer barrel are interesting to me. This one came with an eotech holographic, 8 mags and a case for around what msrp would be.
