If you can get it for less than $1500 it would be a good hunting rig. As noted the 3.0 can have issues but it sounds like they have been addressed.

For the $2500 price range you can probably hold out for a newer one with the 3.4l.

Either way if you threw a Lockright in the rear it would go just about anywhere you'd want to hunt.

I do that a lot as well but mostly deeper into winter.

Nope. Only 1/7 of us filled a tag. Out of the 13 elk I saw only 3 of them were bulls and none of them had more than 2 points

Vernon, I hope you are able to find a good place with good staff for your dad. I was lucky to find a place for my mom where I already knew most of the staff - it made a bad situation much more bearable.

I always have some kind of military history book going. I just got done reading "What they Carried" by Tim O'brien. I can highly recommend it.

Mostly westerns. I have probably 300 paperbacks and over 100 on my phone. William W Johnstone has been my go to author lately.

Its bedtime. We didn't get more than a couple tenths of rain today but tomorrow into Friday is supposed to be soggy again. The weekend is supposed to be nice though so i am hoping for that.

Thank you. Ive been praying almost non stop about this simce i left last night. I really have no clue how to help him. He wants to keep his pets with him and feel self sufficient but. He almost needs constant care. He is really very weak. Holding a spoon and hitting his mouth with food is almost beyond his ability.

Puddydog jumped in the shower again this morning. He actually stayed in there for a few seconds this time before deciding he needed out at which time he jumped from the tub side to the top of the toilet tank. Unfortunately for Puddydog, his wet puddypaws got no traction to stick the landing and he slid across the tank and off the other side right into the trash can. It was fairly hilarious.
