Its supposed to get a little windy this eve as the cool front moves in but more like 15-20 mph. 80 is just crazy.

Our cheapo weather station mounted onto of our deck reported up to 83 mph gusts last night. Today was calm and beautiful, but the winds are starting to pick back up again. Heard they are supposed to last through Friday evening. Anyone hear different? I am planning on spending Saturday morning out in the elements and really don't want too much wind

Thank goodness we aren't forecast for the same again tonight. It's windy out there right now but not enough to shake the house or hear it. It's expected to continue dropping a little bit through the night.

Been going through a bit of a transitional phase in my life. The working stupid hours for others has to stop. I need to spend more time enjoying all that life has to offer. I have spent the last 15-20 years on pretty much the same workaholic path. Not saying I do not have anything to show for it, not saying that at all. And not saying I am going to give up working hard or even long hours. But changes are happening and it's probably for the best.

That said, I have been hooked on a new to me stress reliever, sporting clays. And by hooked, I mean, I have spent more time out on a SC course than I have at the private range I pay good money to be a part of. Also went and added a couple custom gun mounts to the old sidexside to take out on the course with us. Get to test the new setup out this weekend with a few good friends. The tops are a plastic with rubberized coating that holds the barrels securely with rubber straps. And the bottoms are plastic buckets to hold the stocks in place. The tops also work well for holding rakes, shovels, and the like. And the bottoms are quickly and easily removed with a couple machine screws.

Very sorry to hear ... the only answer is to fight...

Mom didn't want to fight after beating breast cancer and then discovering Stage 4 throat cancer with a 50/50 mortality rate... Jodi's the one who kicked her ass into fighting it... Mom's a very different person, but she's still here.

Thank you. Hope you all don't think I am looking for sympathy though. Just trying to remind everyone that life is indeed fragile and to shower those they love with affection while they can. Also just venting a bit.

Life is definitely way to short not to take some time to really enjoy and appreciate it. I know I learned that the hard way. Glad you are readjusting. And f cancer!

.... thinking about first name "Wreaux" with 2 dots over one of those vowels... prolly the u.

.... maybe even the last name.... "Ayzhtuun" with 2 dots over one of those u's..... if I do that, should I relocate the dots over the "a" in the first name? Sh!t's confusing...

maybe I should post a poll to figure out where I put the 2-dots?

We are currently at our high of 48 and it's super nice.... Sun is out and no wind. As much as I complain about winter, 48 in most other places isn't this nice.... looks to be similar tomorrow.

Mon / Tues look to be a different story with some brrrr-skis coming back.....
