    Stoopid snews are stoopid ....

Internet was down but back now. Already getting calls about getting broken trees cleaned up and I expect those folks will hear some more cracking this morning; I've not inventoried my own trees yet

No way to guage how much was melting upon contact before they gathered up in their Kamikaze graves, but about 4" accumulated on the firepit on the north side of the house which is usually the most accurate way to estimate accumulation .... granted, it was wet and compacted, so actual totals would be more.... The high of 88 the day before helped mitigate the ground accumulation where the trees were not as fortunate.

I guess I better get busy. Gotta go fill up gas cans with 91 octane for the yammerhammer then swap the tarrs out on it and get it loaded and strapped down as well as load all the crap I can right now into the trailer. I also need to grease wheel bearings on the trailer with my brand new grease gun that won't stay primed. God, how I loath grease guns....

I think mine survived unscathed ... They are a bit younger and not as large as others around, so I think those smaller limbs are like rubber bands and more pliable. My attorney buddy and his neighbors took a ton of damage....

As much as I hate the price, I only use 91 in the bikes/scooters .... Since my truck is supercharged, I have no choice but to do the same there. I think the wife was alternating tanks with her turbo car, but has gone to 91 despite the pain at the pump.

Yup. I keep threatening to switch to the 89 tune on my truck but I just can't even though I rarely actually get on it. I might need to so I keep pumping 91 into it.
