Finally Friday.
It's not facebook
My mom taught me if I can't tweet something nice, I shouldn't tweet at all
It's still fun to hijack threads
It's a good place to feel better about yourself when reading the crap other people are dealing with
The ownage pics by John and Shaun
It's better than the political crap in GCC
The roller coaster adventures of Ian's romantic interludes
No one knows I lurk here to see if you guys are talking about me
Finally Friday.
Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway.
Stupidity is the same.
And that’s why life is hard.
Lol… I’d really like to throw my hat in the ring to be the new home for it… Honestly, budget, space, and logistics all prevent that.
I am supposed to pick up a 1980 titled Kawasaki 175 2-stroke tomorrow morning for $1k… Figure it would be fun to zip around the neighborhood and teach the youngest how to ride. I’m currently doing a light restomod on the ‘76 Bultaco 350 with the tank and side panels at my painter… I’m considering going through the process of getting it titled.
Probably getting time to let go of the Triumph 1050…. Space will be tight again…
It made it to 83 today but is down to 75. Its also 75 in the house so once again, im in a situation of whether or not i want to crank up the AC knowing that the heater will likely have to run before morning.
We do have a substantial cool down tomorrow so i reckon the wind will kick up some time over night when the front gets here.
I read an article today about how many people are moving to Texas and where most of them are moving from. Yes, i am officially in Oklahoma but only 20 minutesish from Texas and we are having a similar influx here.
Anyway, the number one state that people are moving here from is California. Number 10 is Colorado.
I sure hope its yalls good people that are moving here to get away from the liberal BS that has taken over your state and not the idiots moving here to screw up another state. Its kinda scary.
We have seriously considered leaving the state, that's hard for me to even say out loud
" A mans rights rest in three boxes; the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box" Fredrick Douglass
"The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them" George Orwell
I was flipping through the channels on the guide and noticed the the weather channel is having a special about winter storm Atticus. I don't know why it hit me so hard but people are seriously addicted to sensationalism and hype.
I just don't understand how people can be addicted to the ever increasing hype, even when the hype never lives up to it.
Not just the weather, but I recently watched a healthy young man break down in tears and cry because he found out he had been exposed to the rona and honestly believed he was going to die. Someone sold him on that hype and even though he turned out to be perfectly healthy, he has an even more elevated fear of rona and continues to buy into the latest sensationalism even though his own experience goes against the narrative. We have truly become sheep to be let.
The weekend is here so naturally, the weather went to crap.
37 heading to 55.
a balmy 3* here this morning, and we finally have snow
Apparently, someone stole a 1-ton and trailer from work last night and bashed threw the gate to get out. You would think that a fully wrapped truck would not be a target but i guess so.
Freakin brrr. This is the coldest mernin of the season so far.
Currently 28 but supposed to be sun shiney and 62 later.
Happy sundee.
Why were you awake (and posting here) at 0430????
Ed Zachery. I am almost always awake long before my alarm goes off and even if i am awake but havent felt like getting up yet, puddydog jumps on the bed and says meeeeeyowwww if i stay in bed 5 minutes too late. If i dont get up then, puddydog goes to the other side of the bed and says meeeyowww at scrappy. Scrappy will then get up and go wake up scooby. Next thing i know, i have 3 critters staring at me so i dont have a choice but to get up.
Do not care for the mundee.
36 heading to 71 and sunshine. It looks like it might get rainy as the week progresses.
So the two intelligent individuals who stole our truck and trailer put it on facebook marketplace in Dallas after carefully disguising the wrap with black spray paint on one side and white spray paint on the other side. These pics were taken by a person who replied to the ad and met them at a walmart in Ft Worth but were suspicious when they didnt have a title and were selling it for $2500.
The fat kid with curly hair was later abandoned in Dallas and turned himself in because he needed a ride back home and told the police that they sold the $8000 trailer for $100. They have the name of the crack head looking one but he and the truck are still missing.

Looney toons.
Happy toozdee. 55 heading to 76 but icky clouds.
Yeah, major oversight / mistake by son-in-law-driver ... No malicious intent and an unfortunate result. I could also imagine the nepotism factor allows for performance issues to get overlooked.
The degree of endless stupidity and effort by the 2 idiots leads me to believe shit was gonna happen even if they didn't stumble on a vehicle that had the keys in it ...
The threat of 63 today ....
Looking forward to seeing and picking up the Platarado this morning after some subtle de-chroming changes.
Guessing I might try to find some time to wash it before the cool-down tomorrow.
I need to dust the black truck because birds crapped on it again but the weather monkeys claim we may get as much as 5 inches of rain this week so providing that happens while im at work, ill just let mother nature rinse it off.
The day of humping is here.
Currently 70 heading to 80 with a slight chance of thunderboomers.
Massive traffic jam of mallards, guinea birds, and aflac ducks on the way to work this morning but they were at the duck crossing sign so the guineas were the only illegal ones.
