Just shoveled about 2" of water with about an inch of snow on top of it from in front of the shop. Crazy amount of water in this storm. Why couldn't it have come over the past month, and not all in one day?

Back from Dr. Not removing this thing until we are totally sure I don't need anymore femur surgeries. It can stay in there safely for 3 years before it potentially starts causing issues. So that's a relief.

Shoveled off the back porch - looked like about 12 inches.

Have to wait on daylight to see the drifts in the driveway and try to get the gate open.

We're still getting snow and forecast to continue through the day, although <1" additional accumulation expected.

Because of wind I have no idea how much we actually got.

Plow the driveway?? Bahahaha…. I'll wait out the thaw. Seriously though I don't know there's enough on the driveway to plow.

It'll keep the dust down. Be a good time to wash the race truck.

Driveway is passable, gate is open, and Chick-fil-a has been consumed.

According to the extended forecast on my phone, by the time the streets are completely dry, more white stuff might be coming.

I did get the driveway, patios, and sidewalks clear.

The advantage of living on a plow street is obvious, the disadvantage is the extra snow to clear in front of the driveway and sometimes the sidewalks when the plow truck driver gets close like he did this time. The south-facing part sure helps though.

Sounds like a good reason to move. Working on trucks on a lift with snow melting off of them was enough for me to move.

I guess the driveway had enough snow to justify plowing it after all. Whodathunk?

Wasn't going to shovel the drift in front of the garage doors so the ATV/plow was getting used anyway.

Lol, I am just an idiot. Took a front d60 in on trade and was told it was a chevy. It is in pieces so I didn't inspect it well. Had someone from this board need one. Told him to come get it cheap. He arrived and asked I double check it was a chevy. I looked at the housing and it sure looked like a Dodge one so I looked up the number and sure enough, it's a Dodge. So it wouldn't work for him. Had him drive down for nothing. Should have inspected the axles better first. I am an idiot

I am. Though I admit I enjoyed the shoveling. Growing up in the foothills, my dad made me shovel every snow. Now, I find it very satisfying for some reason. Plus, it's a good cardio work out if you don't stop much.

I find that wrestling my BA snowblower to be plenty of a workout. And I only have 100' or so.

We had about 2-3" of slush under about 3-4" of snow. The snowblowers I have used would of hated it. Kinda why I went with a riding mower with a plow till I get my tractor. Figure it should work fine if I stay on top of things. But my mower is down at the moment. So I shoveled. Guess I could have let it try to burn off like most of my neighbors, but I didnt want an ice build up if it snowed again soon.
