But would use the heck out of the Mule for hauling duties around the property
For what you are looking for, that mule is a great call. I would for sure go with I over a 4 wheeler.

You’ll prefer the bench seat after you use it for a while.

This. But a guy with your shop and skills should be able to whip one out in no time.

Why is that? Ease of getting in and out? I would think a seat that holds one in place would be better than a bench seat that offers no lateral support whatsoever. What am I missing?

Sure but won't really have time for that and what I was getting at is it doesn't offer much more protection from the elements over an ATV.

One of my nephews who is a K9 popo in the Dallas metro area was at a training this eve and one of the other handlers messed up somehow and my nephew got munched. He is at the hospital now being re-assembled. I do NOT want to be on the recieving end of a popo puppy.

Unless you get something with full on race buckets I much prefer the bench. Easier to get in and out and more comfortable. This is a work horse not a sports car. You won’t need much lateral support. Even a piece of plexi for a windshield will make a world of difference.

I understand. I was thinking of a set of mastercraft suspension seats. Something that would hold me into place while hitting drifts. Bad backs and bench seats do not get along, at least for me. And I happen to have a few extra sets sitting on a shelf. Thanks for the explanation

Double dosed NyQuil last night and was knocked out 'till about 6am ... woke up and started coughing ... took the cough syrup that was prescribed to me back in April. Knocked me back out an hour later until about 10:30. That's the most I've slept in a long time.

Court's thing went to his stomach last night. Poor kid's had a rough 3 days.

    Let it snow!!!!

Thanks again for all the advice given. I settled on the Mule. Should be a decent "workhorse" for me around the property. Decent condition older model with some dents and scratches, but it runs well and shifts smooth. Plus everything functions well. And not that I got it, I am sure it won't snow much, if at all the rest of the season. Ya'll owe me for that

Congrats. I bet you will find lots of uses for it other than pushing mayonaise around.
