FYI, hydrants in most cold states are "dry barrel", the operator goes down several feet to actually turn on water up to the hydrant. Thats why when people hit them, they dont immediately start spewing water.

Another 4 miles with 45lbs. This time in the national Forrest. Was nice to get in the woods. Figured the rain would run the ticks off so we went for it.

I love being in the woods.

Heading to work. We are having an open house thing with the radio people there on live remote and giving away the kubota zeroturn mower finally this morning after a 2 month delay due to........covid 19.

I swear, one of these days im gonna loose it and just shoot the next person that says......covid 19.

Anyway the Trump train boat parade starts at 1:30ish so i dont care if we have given the mower away by noon or not but im gonna be outta there.

One of the on air people is a chick with lots of tats and purple hair but is kinda hawt in a strange way.

It turns out that getting a metric buttload of boats in a line isnt as easy as one might think it is but i think we are about to start.

It has arrived. Put it on the lift. All in all itís in good shape for a 47 year old car. Right rear floorboard has some rust but thatís it. Hopefully I can get started on the brakes in the next couple of weeks.

Went out to Epcot today. First day we got heated out. Feels like 107* was to much.

That's a pretty good load old timer! 45lb is my upper working weight as 50lbs is when I start feeling the extra wear-n-tear that'll do more harm long term than the conditioning good the lighter 45lb provides. But I'm a little peewee bastard next to you

After looking it over the only rust is in the drivers rear floor pan and the only dent is in the deck lid and it is minor.

After approx. 25 years of being a customer, Dish Network is becoming a problem.

NFL Network has been removed for several weeks (no big deal now, but will be soon) and now we don't have ABC .... My parents in the Springs don't have NBC.

Gonna have to start looking at leaving my comfort zone.

I was curious since you posted it and looked at Sling. It looks like they have put together a box setup/ OTA antenna to record the local channels, and then you access the sports stuff for the other packages.

I know i have seen sports on amazon prime, you have to pay for them obviously, but that might be another thing to consider.

Cord cutting is still pretty special. We used to want all the latest and greatest content, but now between amazon, netflix and hulu, there is plenty to watch. And then occasionally I fire up the VPN to do bad things for the stuff that we can't find on the 3 streaming services we have.

I had Dish Network for about 10 years a long time ago but gave them up when they would stand behind their DVR players that would fail every 6 months. I have over the air antennas and a Roku now which is fine because i dont watch TV much anyway.
