Be careful of hours on machines and what attachments they have. $12k range must mean you are looking for a 24hp or smaller. Is this correct? If so, I might suggest something a bit larger. And keep in mind that backhoe attachments are almost worth their weight in gold and are VERY useful. And a lot of older tractors don't have the provisions for one. There are others on here way more knowledgable then I with these, but.I have been doing a crap ton of research on them lately.

I'm honestly not sure the HP offhand. A mid sized tractor though, enclosed cab.

You can also get a front snow plow attachment. This is something that I am finding would be really nice around my property instead of just the bucket.

How many hours? Good condition? What's the loader's capacity?

What you want for everything as a package deal including delivery to the front range?

Thanks I have already been there. Just trying to get condition out of him, maybe a photo, maybe a 'motor is strong was rebuilt in 2000' or something. I know it's a small capacity tractor, but there were two options for JD loaders. Trying to figure out which one. If the price is right, it might get me by with a couple projects I need to dr o asap, while I continue to save for a larger, newer one.

The stuff is already in the front range. You would need to pick it up north of Longmont. Theres no way to read hours on a tractor made in (id have to look)

I will ask dad what he wants for it allhttp://www.tractordata.com/farm-trac...n-deere-b.html

Tractor has not been started in many years. Probably needs a carb clean, new , oil etc. The loader might be a home fab jobby thing ... Again, no way of know capacities.

And yes, its probably just a step toward a bigger better 4 wheel drive set up. The cool part is that many guys love these old things. Youll probably get toniae it and your money back

A friend of mine saw some big stripers being carried out by a couple of guys in one of my favorite fishin' spots a couple evenings ago when he was driving by. Its about 3 weeks earlier than the top water bite starts but ya never know. I might have to run out there after work and throw something at them and see if i get any hits.
