Had to strip the old motor down to get the converter and flex plate off... found broken rod parts in the pan was cool in a way but still stings all at the same time! Going to have to rewrap the exhaust as everything is oil soaked but this gives me a chance to change my exhaust up some!

Ouch! I'm no mechanic, but I don't think there should be a winder in that spot.

Got the exhaust shortened and less complicated ran most of the wiring and finished bolting up the TC and other odds.

Going to wrap the exhaust next and install the intake/exhaust and test fire it!

Got a min tonight to check out the high idle... I need a new intake gasket that Iíll pick up from jeep tomorrow but it seams to be running well!

Button up a few lose ends on the front axle why I wait until tomorrow... need to pressure wash the radiator there is a lot of mud on the bottom half behind the winch before all that goes back in

Well had a set back on this..... ended up walking away from it for a few days to get my head back on straight, trans came back out found that there was a bushing in the crank of the new motor that wasnít in my old one and some how I over looked it and it was causing me headaches! I tried everything to get it out and it wouldnít even think about moving (packed it with grease= just made a huge mess, tried a bearing puller with a slide hammer= it just pulling some material and not moving the bushing, tried hitting it with an air hammer = got no where)

Finally just started cutting the 🤬 thing out and it came out! I now have the trans back in and tcase but Iím taking the weekend and running down to Moab with the Tacoma to get some much needed time behind the wheel!

Had a fun time down in Moab wished we had more time but good news itís just 2 hrs away.....!

Other news worked on the buggy and got it running again and it looks like I fixed the grinding issues I was having.

With that fixed I started working on cleaning up some wiring and trans cooler lines and started putting some odds and ends back together (not much that is photo worthy).

    Things todo still:
Rebuild the one air shock thatís blown- seals on order

Order and replace steering orbital and bleed air

Replace a bushing on the gas pedal that broke - part on order

Want to make a small firewall that covers a spot to block some hot air thatís blowing on my feet

Need to pressure wash all the oil off things before putting all flooring and seats back in
