Project 2.0
Ok so the time has come to make some changes to the jeep after our trip to St. George I wanted a buggy that was lighter and had better visibility.
The plan is:
Pulling the tub off and tubing it out
I'll be keeping all the drivetrain and the suspension mounts to save time
I'll be rising the t-case to get a flat belly
I'll be keeping the jeep hood and grill
The chassis will be 50 or 52" wide
The goal is to add space to for the dogs to ride on the long roads to trail heads
Sold the rear air shocks and going with 14"2.0 coilovers
Here is what it looked like before this rebuild
Pulled the cage
Dash pull and tub is about ready to come off

The tear down part is my favorite. You get so much progress done real quick. We can push each other to get the rigs done. What are your plans as far as the cage/style?
Need Tundra parts....Engine...Got any?

Tear down is so easy! lol i was just talking about this VS how long it takes to get it up and runing and yes we can i am calling out few of the other slow guys on here to get theirs done as well! ill be going for a 2 seater top part of the cage but with add space at the belt line area. i really like the jims Garages chaissis but mixed with som goat build lines

FWIW, my buggy is 50" wide and while it does work well in tight spots I really wish it were closer to 54" wide. Making room for two dogs and two adults in a 50" wide chassis will be tough without adding 10" or more to the back.
